I agree that none of the answers in #12 is correct. The question asks "You have a dime and a dollar, you buy a dog and a collar, the dog is a dollar more than the collar, how much is the collar?" The three alternative answers are $1.00, $1.05 and $.50
The question is asking for the cost of the COLLAR. If the collar cost $.50 and "the dog is a dollar more than the collar," then the dog would cost $1.50. The total cost of the two items would be $2.00 ($.50 + $1.50), more than the $1.10 you have.
Under the first answer, if the collar cost $1.00, then the dog would cost $2.00, for a total cost of $3.00. Using the second answer, if the collar cost $1.05, the dog would cost $2.05 for a total cost of $3.10. Hence, all answers exceed the $1.10 available.

For those of you who are confused about question 12 (I think it's twelve but im not sure. Its the one with the dog and the collar.) , if you look carefully, the third option says $.50. Not $50 or $0.05. As in: $O.50. Okay, i've just realised that doesn't matter. But who cares.
-
I can't believe people are so baffled by #12. He didn't say you have to spend all $1.10! He just said that's what you have. So the collar can't cost $0.50 cause you don't have $1.50 and it can't cost $1.00 cause you don't have $2.00. So the collar cost $0.05 and you have $0.05 left over.

You did okay!
Wow, you didn't do the best as possible, but you did great! You got around a B or C, but you still did GOOD. You can be tricked, but not the easiest.
wooooooo!!!!!!!
considering im an f student -
Whoa! I passed. i Know the secret, on the 13th Question, Click "Totally" and u pass. =)
but the answer to question 12 is $.10 and theres no right answer to #12. so the person who made it, must not have passed his own test lol.
-
Yeah, I totally passed!!!
-
Question 12 doesn't HAVE the right answer! You asked how much was the COLLAR, not the DOG. The DOG would've been $1.05, but the COLLAR would've been only $.05 - too bad I'm smarter than the guy that WROTE the quiz! :P
-
One of your questions has an incorrect answer.
See if you can figure ou which.

Since the correct answer was not given for #12, how can you rate this quiz? Dog is $1.05, collar 5cents
pucky1 -
No it is right. The dog is a dollar more than the collar. dog equals 1.05 and the collar is .05. whats 1.05-.05? A dollar! Wow arent u people so smart...
-
Pft! I'm retarded. I thought the option was $0.05 instead of $1.05. No wonder peoples are confused lol
-

foxxxxy1 -
number 12 isnt wrong to the people that posted it.think about it..theres a dollar and a dime.you buy a dog and collar ,the dog cost a dollar more than the collar,so the collar is .05cent and the dog is 1.05..1.10 in total..this test was a joke right?
foxxxxy1 -
it's no wonder you can't pass as there is no correct answer for #12.
