Spells and Oregano: Book I in The Secret Spice Cafe Trilogy is an intense and suspenseful magical realism novel set aboard the modern-day RMS Queen Mary, a ship TIME magazine calls "one of the top ten most haunted places." It features a young woman with pychic abilities who is trying to escape the hidden tragedies of her past, a powerful magician with heartbreak of his own, a deadly enemy out for revenge, and a collection of very intriguing and helpful spirits. If I had an afternoon to do whatever I wished, I would:
- sit in a quiet place, alone, and read a good book
- enjoy the company of my family
- use the extra time wisely to get a jump on the next day's important work

- good, but inexpensive wine

- cocktails and mixed drinks
When I was a child, I felt:
- different than all the other children I knew
- happy
- like I had to please all the adults around me
- privileged
What I want most, personally is:
- peace
- happiness
- recognition
- status
For dinner, I prefer:
- Beef Wellington
- Grilled Salmon
- Spaghetti and Meatballs
- Hamburger and Fries
