Since his debut in good old 1969, Scooby-Doo has seen many redoes and makeovers, from the Scrappy Era to the present day. The many eras of the canine super-sleuth and his human companions are a varied lot, often adding in new characters to the main cast and/or removing some of the original characters. Sometimes, the old school "bad guy in a mask of the week" formula is scrapped in favor of an overarching plot with real monsters who truly mean business.
