Excuse me,

Marines are considered a branch of their own. They are not a branch from the Navy.

Although they have close naval ties (hence the fouled anchor on their emblem) the Marine Corps are not under the branch of the Navy, they are their own.

I've never heard a Marine say "hooyah"
They say "hoorah"

I'm in Marine ROTC at school, and although it's not an official ready to be shipped to the military thing, I am required to learn Marine knowledge because of my Rank (I'm an E-6) just like if I was an actual enlisted person.

Okay, so before you make a quiz saying "Marines are not their own branch in the military, do some investigation."
