the allied protectors of Earth (Part 10)

HELLO! Okay Part 10 is one of the longest I have every written, questions wise. I hope you enjoy and there's quite a bit of tension and a twist :) I've written all of this in one day and my butt is numb. My fingers are also shaking..

So in Part 9 you see Milla and she wants to kill you. We'll see in this part what will happen. When I was writing this, I wanted to punch Milla right in the face.

  1. Milla charged at you, with incredible speed. Her katana was ready to kill you with one single slash. You took out your long dagger and was prepared to fight. Milla's katana hit your dagger with such a strong force that you staggered back slightly. "Do you think you could really defeat me with that dagger?" Milla mocked. You noticed a couple of plant pots lying nearby. You quickly kicked into Milla's stomach causing her to fall back a bit. You then lifted up the plant pots with your telekinesis and threw it towards Milla. But suddenly a amber dome covered her and the plant pots bounced off it and scattered onto the ground. Milla just laughed. "Didn't anyone tell you that I can create force fields?" You couldn't even see her coming. Milla swung her katana at you. A sharp pain began to happen in the right hand side of your body. You looked down and saw a deep wound. You clutched it in pain. Your legs buckled underneath you as a force hit into them and you were sprawled on the floor. Milla pins you down, both her knees were on your shoulders. You were useless against her.
  2. "Let go of me!" you hissed and try to shrug her off but she was to strong and heavy. "Aww, don't worry. It's not like the team will miss you too much when you're dead." You felt something warm spreading rapidly from your wound. Milla placed her hand over your mouth and nose. You tried to say something but she kept tightening her grasp. Your lungs were in need of oxygen. "Hush now." whispered Milla. "Since you're such a weakling, I'll make your death as slow and as painful as possible. Besides, you've never felt real pain while in the team. It's time for you to feel it." Milla whipped out a small sharp knife and tilted it, almost examining it. She lifted her your chin up and you could feel the coldness from the tip of the knife against your throat. You closed your eyes, This could not be happening. "NO!" you tried to scream. Before Milla could slit your throat, she was thrown away from you. Her hand lifted off and you could finally breathe. You inhaled the oxygen deeply. You stood up and looked and Milla who looked at you in shock. What just happened? It couldn't of been you...could it?
  3. "Fly." you commanded and tried to fly away but a strong pair of hands grabbed you by the ankles. Milla managed to reach the button on your strap. You jet pack shut down and you threw thrown over the building with Milla dragging you down. The pressure of the air was hitting your face and you tried to shake Milla off and her grasp was strong. You were at least 15 stories. You plummeted towards the ground and crashed into a dark alley way full of big dustbins and cardboard boxes. You groaned and stayed still. You swear all the bones in your body was broken. You weakly lifted yourself up and saw Milla landing in front of you neatly. You tried to run but a sharp pain hit you in the back. You turned around and saw a small throwing knife sticking deeply into for back. You collapsed onto the dirty ground. You were in complete agony. You saw Milla, cracking her neck and walking towards you. "Let's end this." You closed your eyes and for some reason, you felt a sudden power surging from your veins. You lifted a few of the big bins with your powers and there was a strange blue glow lining them. You threw it at Milla with all your strength and clenched your fist. The big bins turned moulded right in front of your eyes and turned into shard shards heading straight for Milla. You stood up and began to run. Your whole body was in pain but you kept on running. You ran onto the mains streets. It was silent and the street lamps were shining brightly. You felt the wounds on your back and right side of stomach were becoming increasingly painful. There was also rapid wetness spreading from your forehead and trickling down your face. You see a figure heading straight towards you.
  4. You were panting hard. "________?!" yelled the figure. As they walked closer to you, you saw it was Mason. His face looked horrified when he saw you. You collapsed into his arms and sank down towards the ground. "Oh My God _________, what happened?" cried Mason. You felt the whole world slipping away from you. "No! _________ stay with me!" Mason begged. You're grasp was slipping away from him and you hugged Mason even tighter. "Please stay," he whispered. You heard the distress in his voice. With all your strength you managed to whispered one word.
  5. "Milla."
  6. You heard Mason gasp. He smelt of cologne and sweat. It felt reassuring as you began to slip away. Soon you were unconscious, even if Mason's grasp was strong, he wasn't able to hold on to you as you fell into a world of darkness.
  7. You kept slipping in and out of consciousness. You didn't know how long you've been unconscious for. Every part of you ached. Sometimes you body would feel tingly and weird but it felt good in a weird way. Sometimes you would hear voices but you had no strength to answer or to wake up. "Jack, when will she wake up? It's been three days!" "Patience Mason. She's exhausted and injured quite badly. Let her rest."
  8. "Don't worry Sophia. She'll pull through. She can handle anything." "Thank Lucas. But look at her. She's looks so vulnerable."
  9. "Indiana, don't worry. We'll catch Milla." "Why would she do that though Austin? She's dead!"
  10. "Please ________, wake up. Everyone's so worried about you. I'm worried about you. Please, hold on." A voice was guiding you out of the darkness. You slowly managed to open your eyes. You slowly sat up. There was a slight tingly feeling where your injuries were. You looked around and saw a vase of flowers on your bedside table and a glass of water. You saw tubes coming out of your hand. Then you noticed Mason sleeping soundly, his head resting on the bed. He was holding your hand. You giggled softly. Mason began to stir. He opened his eyes and lifted his head up. He looked at you with surprise. "_________!" he cried. Then he hugged you. "Are you alright?! You had me so worried!" Mason slowly released you. "I'm fine." you replied. Then you remembered. Milla attacking you. "Mason, Milla attacked me!" you explained. Mason looked shocked. "She couldn't of. She's dead." Mason said flatly. "No Mason. Somehow she's still alive and she's working for Osiris! Do you think I did this-" you gestured to your injuries. "to myself?!" "No, of course not ________." replied Mason. "Look get some rest. We'll talk about this later." replied Mason and he stood up. He gently helped to you to lie down and pulled the blankets and sheets to your shoulders. "But-" "Hush..." whispered Mason and gave you a angel's kiss. "Sweet dreams."
