Actually, in James it talks about how works are the EVIDENCE of our salvation. "For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)." "There is no one righteous, not even one. There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away. They have together become worthless. There is no one who does good, not even one." (Romans 3:10-12). Even if we say we do "good" things, when you really think about it, what is your motive? It is ALWAYS to help yourself (even if it sounds like something selfless). The incredibly awesome news is this: "For god so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) If you believe this and believe that Jesus Christ ALONE can save you, and you put your whole faith in Jesus Christ, that is ALL you need to have eternal life. Jesus IS enough!!!!!! The question about Jesus' age at the time of the Magi's visit is irrelevant to Bible study. He was more than likely NO MORE than two years, but he may have been as young as one day. (Presumably Joseph and Mary did not stay in the stable for more than two nights, am I right?)

its really not that hard if you take the time to study gods word the bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved a workman that needeth not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth and our weapon that we fight satan with is the two edged sword the word and the spirit if we dont have the word how can we fight?

Could we all quit fighting? Read the book of Romans and somewhere in there it talks about arguing. We shouldn't argue.
