So this is going to be a bit long. But that's because I'm trying to fit in each guy for everyone. For all you Seth and Noah lovers, you're going to like this part a lot. If you have any questions just say them in the comments. Hope you enjoy!

  1. “My powers might kill me!!!” you yell. Warren looks down at the floor again, “if you take in too much energy” he says. “How do you know this?” you snap at him. “I studied quantum physics in the fifties… that’s how I met you” he says. Your face softens a bit, “You studied quantum physics” you repeat shocked by what you just heard. “I was going to tell you yesterday… but you kind of ran off and puked all over the lawn” he says holding back his smile. You punch him in the arm “it’s not funny Warren, I was freaking out” you say. He clears his throat “Yeah, you’re right. I shouldn’t laugh at you, it was hell cleaning all of that up this morning” he jokes. You smile a bit, but then frown again “so what should I do about my powers?” you ask. “Simple, don’t use them unless absolutely necessary. You can’t turn back time every three seconds, you can’t jump millenniums ahead of time, and you can’t bring someone back to life. All of those take up a lot of energy, it would be extremely risky if you did any of these. Especially bringing someone back from the dead, that is almost a guaranteed death wish on your part.” He explains. You nod, “okay, so I can’t use my powers all the time only in emergencies” you re-state. “Yes, and why is that?” he asks you trying to see if you remember. “Because if I do my powers will kill me” you taste the bitter words as they leave your mouth, you silently swear to never do any of these three things.
  2. “Good, now I have study a bit to see if there’s anything that’ll help” he says heading for his room. Then you remember what Noah said to you, about Warren being crazy over you. “Hey Warren” you say before he heads down the hall. “What?” he asks casually. “I just wanted to say… Thank you” and to your surprise… you mean it. Warren nods and replies “You’re welcome” and casually keeps walking down the hall. You keep watching him, just to see if he looks back at you… but he doesn’t. This disappoints you a little, but then you decide to forget about what Noah said… obviously he got the wrong message. Warren is just a guy who protects you… but if he doesn’t feel that way for you then… why does he even bother? You close the door to your room and lie on your bed. “Ugh, why are guys so complicated?” you ask yourself.
  3. . Just then, you hear the front door open and close, you immediately sit up from your bed. “Noah” you say smiling to yourself. You run down the stairs and see him with a bag filled with books. “Hey Noah!” you call to him. He looks up and you can see the excitement glow from his face. “Hey ______, I got some books I thought you might like” he says as he puts them down. You pick one up, it’s called “Life between magic and boys” you read the back cover and you’re instantly curious. “Hey this one looks pretty good” you say. “Oh that one, I know my grandma reads that book a lot. The sequel’s called ‘Teenage chronicle’” Noah says. You look at the inside cover and read all the praise the book has gotten. “Whoa, now this one is REALLY looking good. I mean even J.K Rowling read this book and she said it’s “A magical adventure that would thrill any reader, I couldn’t put it down” I’m TOTALLY reading this book now” you say really excited for it. Noah hands you a few other books, “if you have the time… er I mean whenever you want to, you can read these” he says. You pick up one that says “Mysterious & Unexpected events” with a cover that shows a girl with long gorgeous hair holding a wand with a crescent moon scar on her forehead. “Oh my gosh, this looks awesome too!” you say excited. You also see "Don't leave me hanging” an epic adventure story about an organization of mythical human hybrids, and “Goodbye…” a story about a girl named Rosella with a spiteful twin but awesome friends. You instantly want to read them all. “Oh my gosh, Noah these are ALL really cool books. How did you know what I’d like?” you ask fascinated. “I didn’t, I just guessed” he says like it’s no big deal. You hug him. He’s a bit shocked by this, but eventually he hugs you back.
  4. “Hey ______” he says. “Yes?” you say still hugging him. “Do you like jellyfish?” he asks. You blink a few times at him in confusion but he still waits patiently for your answer. “Uh… yeah I guess, I’ve never seen one before” you say. He grins at you excitedly, “come with me to the park tonight!” he doesn’t sound like he’s asking you, but you answer anyways. “Sure, when?” “When it gets dark” he says. You raise your eyebrows but you feel as if he wouldn’t do anything to you at night. “Okay then, I’ll meet you there” you say. Just then, Noah kisses your hand gracefully like you’re a princess. Your mouth hangs open in shock, but when he looks in your eyes you instantly close it. He swiftly takes his books and bags and leaves without a word. You look at your hand and you can’t help but smile at how romantic that felt. You take your books and head upstairs.
  5. Suddenly you hear Carol screaming bloody murder. Your heart races and you drop your books. You skip several steps and your feet scramble to get to the top of the staircase. You nearly trip over some steps but you don’t care, all that matters is saving Carol. You’re breathing harder and harder running down the long hallway to save your dearest friend. You finally get to her door and burst into her room. “What is it Carol! What’s wrong?” you ask alarmingly looking around. She’s sitting on her bed staring at the T.V screen in shock. “There’s no Phineas and Ferb!!! How can I live without my Phineas or my Ferb???” she wails. You give her a look. “What? I’m in a crisis here” she protests. You roll your eyes “Really Carol? That’s why you were screaming?” you ask her. “Yes, and why are you so serious about it?” she asks. “Well if you must know I’m being hunted down by everyone, I’m the most powerful being in the entire universe, and I could very well DIE if I over use my powers!!!” you vent to her. Saying all of this you break down and start crying uncontrollably. “I’m just worried about everything these days because if I screw up on one little thing it could be life or death” you say. You feel her hugging you and you cry into her shoulder. “I’m sorry _____... I don’t know what that’s like. I’ve never been responsible for anything that stressful, and I’m sorry I scared you. I do know this, no matter what happens I’ll be there for you… okay you feeling better?” she says. You nod but still feel tears running down your cheeks. “From now on I’ll try to be less over dramatic” she says raising her right hand by her head and putting her left hand over her heart. You give a little smile “that’s not going to last” you say. “Aw see, there’s the girl I know! Am I the best therapist in the world or what?” she jokes. You hit her over the head with a pillow. “Hey!” she says surprised. You laugh “and I’ll be the best pillow fighter in the world” you joke. “Oh, we’ll see about that!” she says grabbing another pillow. You both hit each other with pillows like you were having a sleep over. You slowly forget all of the stress in your life and you suddenly feel glad Carol over reacted. She may be a bit dramatic at times, but she’ll always know how to cheer you up. After you two have duked it out for an hour you both go downstairs for a glass of chocolate milk (me: I have no idea why, but chocolate is becoming a re-occurring word in this series) You find your books where you dropped them and Carol looks at all of them. “Oh my gosh, these look AWESOME!!! Where’d you get them?” she asks. “Noah gave them to me” you say. “Oooh, not only is he romantic, but he’s got great taste too” she says. You blush, “no it’s not like that. He didn’t even know if I would like them or not” you say. “Oh please ______, are you forgetting girl rule number 11? Any guy who gives you gifts is totally crushing on you. Oh and especially if it’s not flowers and chocolates, that means they’re creative” she says. “Well Noah’s definitely creative, but I don’t know much about him” you say. “Well did he ask you out?” she asks. “Kind of” you say. “Then it’s official, he has the hots for you” she states proudly. “Just call me Carol the Matchmaker” she adds. You laugh “yeah but Seth also asked me out” you say. Then you freeze as you just realize Carol is Seth’s cousin. Both of you sit there shocked for a few minutes trying to process what you just said. You stare at the table trying to avoid the look on Carol’s face until she finally says “When are you two going?” she asks. “What?” you ask in disbelief. “I said when are you two going out?” she asks again. You look at her surprised, “You’re okay with it?” you ask. “I told you upstairs I wasn’t going to create any drama in your life. If I freaked out about Seth I would just be stressing you out more and I don’t want to do that again. Besides, what happens between you and Seth is between YOU and SETH not me. But you’re going to have to pick one guy sooner or later, you know that right?” she says rationally. You instantly hug her again for being so understanding, “when I do you’ll be the first to know” you say. “Promise?” she asks. “Promise” you reply.
  6. You two then read some chapters from the books and talk about them. “Oh my gosh, I totally LOVE Calisto right now” Carol says swooning. You roll your eyes, “yeah, well I like Oliver the best” you say referring to Mysterious & Unexpected events. “He’s only in like, one sentence!!!” Carol exclaims. “So far, I need to keep reading it” you say. “Well why aren’t you reading it?” “Because I’m reading about being kidnapped in ‘Don’t leave me hanging’” you say. “Wow, talk about irony” Carol jokes. Then Seth comes down the stairs looking pretty nice. He stops and stares at you in awe, like you’re the most beautiful thing in the world. You blush and turn away; unfortunately Carol follows your gaze and sees Seth. “Hey Seth, how’s it going?” she asks casually. Seth looks really nervous but manages to say “good” despite the awkwardness. Carol gets up from her chair and grabs all the books off the table. “Later _____” she says as she skips upstairs. You watch her go and you get up from your chair. “So, where did you want to go?” you ask. Seth doesn’t answer, but he holds your hand and leads you to the door. You don’t try to get out of his grip; his hands are strong but gentle, and you can tell by the way he plays his guitar. You suddenly realize that you can’t say a word about the song until he plays it to you knowingly. It could take weeks, or months until he does. But until then, you could think of other things to talk about. You’re clever enough to know how to keep a secret.
  7. Seth leads you outside and you start to walk but he stops you. “I have a faster way of getting there” he says. He takes out a remote and points it at the garage; the door opens slowly to reveal a jet black sports car. “I thought you’d prefer to drive instead of walk… because of your heels” he says. You literally flip out and hop in in milliseconds before he can even say where you’re going. He got in the driver’s seat and drove responsibly and smoothly (it definitely beat Warren’s driving) when he stopped you got out of the car and saw it was a fancy café with a nice green awning and everything. You look at Seth, “how do you have enough money to get a sports car and then go to a fancy café later?” you ask. “Remember when I told you I was famous, well I was also rich too” he says it very nervously for some reason. You both find a nice table outside and you both order a regular coffee. “So I hope it wasn’t too weird with Carol” he says. “Oh no, trust me she’s fine with it.” You insist. He sighs in relief “good, I didn’t want it to be all weird between us” he explains. You nod in agreement and silently thank the lord for having such an understanding friend.
  8. “So tell me about yourself” you say casually. Seth chuckles a little, “My life as an immortal. Well it’s been okay I guess, I mean besides my fame” “Oh… do you want to talk about it?” you ask. “To you, yes. I trust you” he says. You feel your heart flutter a bit because a guy has never told you he trusts you before. “When I was young living in London, I had to make a living for my family. We were… well you know…” he trails off “Poor?” you ask. “Yeah… and I was the youngest child. My twin sisters tried to get jobs but no one would listen because everyone was going through an economy breakdown. I wasn’t old enough to get a real paying job so I did the only thing I could… I played my guitar in hopes of people donating money for my family. At first I didn’t have much of a crowd, people would just pass by… not even looking at me. It scared me, when I first started, that I would come home empty handed. Then, an older woman came to me, she was wearing a cloak with a weird looking hat, but she gave me a lot of money and started dancing around gracefully. Soon, everyone gathered around me, and I swore to myself to play for people, to bring music to the world.”
  9. You wait patiently for him, and then he continues. “I got famous from some agent listening to me playing for money. I was rich and famous for quite a while… until they figured out I was immortal. Until…” he stops himself. “What? Until what?” you ask intrigued. He looks up in your eyes, “until you” he says holding your hand. “You came to me, and I had to choose between being rich or being with you because you had to travel to another time. I tried to think of my life without you and I couldn’t. So I came with you, and that’s why I gave it all up.” He keeps staring at your face and you can’t help but hold your breath in shock. He gave up EVERYTHING for you… and now you could understand more of his song. “Wow” you say. “What is it?” he asks. “I never noticed… how sweet you really are” you say smiling at him. He blushes and looks down at the table, “t-th-thanks” he stammers nervously. You giggle a bit. Seth still looks down at the table but asks you about your life when you were normal. You tell him about how you met Carol (you were both partners for a heated debate, Twilight vs. Harry Potter. It was the easiest debate ever because everyone knows Twilight sucks and Harry Potter rules), how you were aspiring to be a writer, and all of your favourite things to do. You do most of the talking but ask questions to Seth so he can say what’s on his mind as well. The whole time you were talking Seth was looking more and more relaxed to be with you. He even quoted a line from Terminator perfectly when you were talking about how the second movie was the best. “I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle” he said, with a pretty good Austrian accent too. After a few hours you and him leave the café both smiling at each other. “That was really nice Seth” you say. “Thanks _____” he says while blushing a bit. “No really, I had a great time with you” you say sincerely. He smiles and you feel like you’re on top of the world when he says “I had a great time with you”
  10. You and him get in the car and drive back to the mansion. You turn on the radio and hear “Raise your glass” by P!nk. You sing along to it, not caring about the weird stares you’re getting from people. When it gets to the “why so serious?” part you hear Seth mutter “black” right after she sings “serious”. It made it sound like “why so Sirius Black?” You laugh and keep singing. He sings some of the parts when he feels comfortable, and whenever he was at a red light. You wave your arms a bit and do a hair whip that makes Seth laugh really hard. You realize Seth has a really cute laugh, especially when he’s with you. Like he only feels like himself when he’s with you. When you finally get to the mansion, the song ends and you feel a little disappointed it’s over. Acting crazy with Seth and singing along with the song was so much fun you didn’t want it to end. You get out of the car and hold hands with Seth walking inside. It was about four thirty in the evening when you looked at the clock. You know you could easily rewind time and do it all again… but you don’t want to risk it. You hold his hand and look him in the eyes, “I just want you to know, that I really want to do this again with you” you blurt out to him. Before he can even say a word you kiss him on the cheek and run inside. You don’t realize you just kissed him on the cheek until you’re in your room. You blush like mad and look outside your window. Surely enough, Seth is still standing outside in pure shock. You smile a bit and sit back down on your bed.
  11. You change into something more casual for dinner and you go back downstairs. You see Warren coming in from the grocery store (he went while you were on your date) and carrying all of the shopping bags to the kitchen. “Hey Warren, do you need any help with that?” you ask cheerfully. Warren looks at you suspiciously “why are you so cheery this evening?” he asks. “Oh um I’m happy because… because… because I found out that they’re selling Batman t-shirts for half price” you lie. You don’t want to tell Warren about your date with Seth, you’re afraid things might get awkward and you don’t want to spoil your good mood. Warren smirks, “sometimes I wonder if you’re even a girl” he mutters. “EXCUUUSE ME?” you say doing the attitude snap. Warren laughs, “Okay never mind then, there’s no way a guy would ever do that” he says. You grin mischievously “I bet you won’t do it” you tease him. He shakes his head “you’re right I won’t” he keeps sorting out the groceries. “So you admit that I’m better than you” you say proudly. “_______, you’re better than anyone in the universe.” He says. “I mean besides my powers” you say annoyed. “Besides your powers… yep you’re still better than me” he admits. You raise your eyebrow, “and here I was thinking you were competitive” “Well, you didn’t exactly go for something I take pride in” he says. “If it’s something I know I’m good at, then I will” he continues. You smile mischievously “so what would that be?” you ask. “You don’t know?” he asks. You shake your head no. “Really? Well that’s good” he says. You pout, “You know what, you’re no fun” “and you have terrible grammar, can you put the soup in the bottom cupboard for me?" He interrupts. You cross your arms, “fine, but I’m going to figure you out eventually” you say. Warren looks up from organizing the apples and looks at you with (for the first time ever) curiosity. “You really want to figure me out?” he asks. You put your hands on your hips “as much as I’d hate to admit it… yes. I mean what’s the deal? You rescued me from an explosion and a gunshot yet you were completely calm the whole time, you watch me fake sleep the next day, you tell me that I’m basically dead just because I’m special, and now you criticize my grammar while sorting apples” you list off. Warren shrugs “I’m not sure who I am myself, so I wouldn’t waste time trying to label me as anything else” he says going back to the apples. You chuckle “oh Warren, who on this planet earth has themselves completely figured out? I don’t even have myself figured out, my whole life has changed ever since prom night and I don’t even have control over my powers yet” you say. He doesn’t respond but instead Warren grabs the uncooked pasta package and chucks it at you.
  12. Once it lands in your hands he gives you a pot. “You know how to make pasta right?” he asks. You shake your head, “I only do pizza and oatmeal” you say. He goes over to you and sets everything up. “Okay what you have to do is put the pasta in the pot and watch it cook. You also have to stir the pot a bit with a spoon” he hands you a spoon and you accidentally touch his hand. You look up at him and he looks up at you. Suddenly a connection between you and him is summoned just by looking into his dark blue eyes… it was just like the time he caught you from passing out after building the mansion. You find yourself drowning in the sea of blue concern and safety, the guilt was still there, but it was overshadowed by all these new emotions and thoughts swirling in your head like a cyclone. You feel compelled to find out more, break down his walls, and see the real him. Your heart beats faster when you realize he’s not taking his hand off of yours. After what feels like hours you break up the connection and you feel him let go of the spoon. “Th-th-thanks” you stammer out embarrassed. “You’re welcome” he says like nothing happened, but you can see that he’s going through something in that confusing muddled mind of his. “I’m going to make the sauce” he says while getting the ingredients. You watch the pasta, but every now and then, you catch Warren looking at you. You start to wonder if Noah is right, but then another voice in your head says there’s no way he could have feelings for you. As you’re watching the pasta and waiting patiently, you secretly count how many times Warren looks at you and thinks you don’t notice.
  13. You counted 23 by the time the pasta was done. Warren walks over and inspects the pasta. He nods in approval, “Not bad for your first time, not only are you a Pizza Queen, but you’re a Pasta Princess to boot” he jokes. You smile and go over to his sauce. You taste it and your eyes widen in shock. “Oh my god, Warren this is…” you taste the sauce again “… the best sauce I’ve ever tried!” you exclaim. It’s a mix of sweet and spicy, with a creamy texture. “Hm, so I guess you haven’t tried that many sauces then” he says. “Oh shut up, this is amazing” you say. He smiles, “yeah, I had to cook a lot in my dorm. So that’s why I’m the one with the most cooking skills” he says proudly. You grin mischievously and look at him “so THAT’s what you take pride in? Cooking?” you tease. He shakes his head, “good guess but no, I prefer eating instead of cooking” he jokes. Your grin falls and you cross your arms. “I’ll find it one day, mark my words Warren I will” you say. “Why?” he asks. “Because…
  14. But before you can say why, you see Devin walking in. “I wonder what Warren and the Beautiful _______ have made just for me on this lovely evening” he says like he’s a suave gentlemen. You blush a bit when he comes in, it’s the normal reaction for him, and he just has that effect on you. Maybe it’s the hair, maybe it’s the stare, and you’re not exactly sure why. “Hello Devin” you say twirling your hair around your finger. Devin strolls in and looks at the pasta that’s placed in front of you. He smells it like it’s the best thing in the world. “Oh that smells great, my compliments to the chef” he says. “That would be me” you say smiling. “Well, in that case I’m going to have to do a LOT more to compliment you” he jokes. You feel a blush coming on so you try to change the subject, “did you try Warren’s sauce?” you ask. “Psh, like I have to. Warren makes the best sauce in the world, I’ll try it with the pasta at dinner” he says. “Well you could help set the table” Warren says casually. You blink in surprise at his response, not even a bit of jealousy in his voice… “Oh okay mom, just don’t tuck in my shirt” Devin jokes and grabs the plates. You laugh and put some pepper on the pasta, you can’t help but watch him set the table. Every time you try to not look at him, you find your eyes have already stolen a few glances. “My eyes have a mind of their own” you think to yourself.
  15. Just then, Noah comes in wearing all black: black shirt, black jeans, black jacket, and black shoes! Heck you swear you even see he’s wearing black socks. “Hey Noah” Devin says not looking up. As soon as Noah sat in front of him Devin’s eyes widened “WHOA Noah, are you robbing a bank or something?” Devin asks. Noah shakes his head “I’m not interested in money today” he says wistfully. “Well what’s with all the black?” Devin asks. “It’s a surprise” Noah says smiling directly at you. You wonder what the surprise is, but then you remember where you two are going and you start to suspect something fishy going on. “Well whatever it is, I hope you bring a flashlight. I feel like I’m in the dark just by looking at you” Devin says. “That’s the effect of colour absorption, black sucks in any light it comes in contact with. That’s why when it’s dark, everything looks black.” Noah explains. “Okay thank you for the lesson teacher, do I get a treat?” Devin jokes. “Judging from the way _____ is looking at us, possibly” Noah says gesturing to you. You widen your eyes a bit because you had no idea Noah was paying attention to you the whole time talking to Devin. With the answer Noah gave, Devin turns and sees your expression “wow Noah, I’ve got to say you’ve got a good eye for modelling companies” Devin says. You feel a blush coming on but you try to ignore it, “You really think I could be a model?” you ask him. “DUH” Devin says dramatically. “I’m surprised you aren’t one already!” he says smiling at you. Your stomach feels like it’s doing flips and your heart is racing faster than a horse. You do a little pose for him and Devin pretends to take a picture “Uh huh, oh yeah baby! Work it, work it. Now flip your hair” Devin says while snapping fake pictures of you like crazy. You do a dramatic hair flip and Devin’s going nuts with the invisible camera. “Okay now do a twirl while singing Celine Dion” he orders. You pause, “Why?” you ask. “So the people know you have an awesome singing voice!” Devin says. You shrug, “Okay” you sing a little bit of Celine Dion while doing an elegant twirl which makes you feel like an actual model. Devin takes ‘pictures’ while walking around, you like you’re the only person in the world. “Now one last thing I want you to do for me. You’ve got to stand straight” you stand straight as he says. “Take one step closer” you take a step closer. “and then say ‘Devin’s the coolest guy in the universe” he says. You stick your tongue at him but you do what he says “Devin’s the coolest guy in the universe” you say in a little kid voice. “Aw that’s precious. Not only can you sing, but you can act too! Where have you been all my life?” he asks. “Reading” you reply. “Curse those books, they prevented me from the most perfect girl in the world” he says staring right at you. You blush like mad and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. “AW that’s so romantic” you hear a girly voice at the front of the room. You turn and see Carol holding her iPod recording the whole thing. “CAROL!!!” you yell embarrassed. “I couldn’t resist” she says waving it around like a medal. Devin raises an eyebrow, “your friend is a crafty one ain’t she?” he jokes. You turn to smile at him but then turn to glare at Carol. “If you want it, come and get it” she says mockingly. You instantly start running after her around the house, even outside in the massive backyard. As you’re running you see glimpse of an obstacle course and wonder why it’s out here. You only wonder about for a bit because you find yourself hitting a tree. You rub your head and you see Carol still running, “good thing she didn’t see, I would never hear the end of it” you mutter as your chase her. You finally have her cornered at the fence and she holds her hands up and laughs uncontrollably. “OKAY OKAY I surrender. But before you delete, just watch it okay” she says pleadingly. You don’t have any time to say anything because she’s already playing it. You watch and see the spark in Devin’s eyes, your blush creeping up every ten seconds or so, and the passion between you two. When the video’s finally over you realize your cheeks hurt from how much you’ve been smiling watching the video. You shake your head, “Keep it Carol, its fine” you say. She winks, “I knew you’d understand. Aren’t my camera skills just awesome?” she jokes and offers her right arm to you. You hook your left arm and you both skip through the backyard and into the house with a flourish. “WE”RE BAAACCK” Carol sings out loudly. You and her waltz into the kitchen and see Seth’s now sitting at the table. “Hey Seth” Carol says nudging her head towards you. You know what that means; she wants to know about the date later. You poke her as a silent inquiry to give up while she’s ahead but you see the grin spread across her face and you know she’s going to ask about it later.
  16. At dinner Noah was talking about Pottermore. You instantly jump in and you both have an interesting debate over which house is better. “Noah, Gryffindor is the only house to come with a legacy like Harry Potter.” You protest. “True, but Ravenclaw only accepts the smartest wizards and witches. Since magic is based on intelligence, and not strength, that makes them the most successful and most powerful students” he explains. “Hey I have a question” Devin raises his hand. You give him a look, “Yes Devin?” you ask. He puts his hand down “What the hell is a Hufflepuff?” he asks. You smile, “I have no idea” you say. “Hufflepuffs are floating creatures that look like clouds but they eat sand and they have tiny eyes that can see miles away. They’re most commonly known for their ability to find anything you’ve lost; they’re an endangered species which is why most wizards don’t know about them. They’re quite friendly if you give them some sand and love. I know a person who found one and raised it as their own, they named it Cedric, after the fall of Cedric Digory in the Goblet of Fire. Cedric seems to like butterscotch pudding as well, I like pudding too but not as much as that hufflepuff does.” Noah explains. Everyone at the table looks at Noah in either amazement or confusion. “Wow… remind me to never ask Noah a question ever again” Devin jokes. You swat him “don’t be mean, I didn’t know that they were even real creatures” you say. Noah smiles, “If you were friends with a wizard from Hufflepuff house, you’d know everything about their mascot.” he explains. You nod and you realize you’re done your dinner. “Well I’m going to go upstairs” you say putting your plate away. Carol quickly wolfs down the rest of her dinner “I’m going with you!” she says with her mouth full and quickly putting her plate in the dishwasher. You don’t try to stop her, because you know she’ll just come anyways.
  17. Once you two are in your room she blurts it out like she’s been dying to ask forever “howwasyourdatewithseth?” You shake your head “Not telling” you say. “OH COME ON _______ !!! Please?” she begs you. “No” you say crossing your arms. “I won’t tell anyone” she says. You sigh, “Fine I’ll tell you” you say. You then tell her about how it went, with the car, the café, the past he told you about, and how it seemed like he was acting like himself around you. “Oh my gosh, I know he was going through some troubles with money, but I had no idea it was that bad!” she exclaims. “But how was he acting ‘like himself’ around you?” she asks. “Well, he was laughing and singing along with me in the car” you explain. Carol gasps dramatically “NO WAY Seth hasn’t been singing ever since he’s stopped playing for the public!” she covers her mouth in shock. You shake your head “well he’s started again… and you have to swear to keep what I’m about to tell you a secret” you say. She nods in seriousness, “Okay, I swear I won’t tell” she says. You look around to make sure no one is looking through a window or anything, you decide to whisper anyways “Seth made a song for me and sung it this morning” you say into her ear. “AW that’s soooo sweet. So when do you think he’s going to actually play it for you?” she asks. “I have no idea” you say hanging your head low. She puts a hand on your shoulder, “I know Seth… maybe I could coax him or something. Just so you’re not waiting forever for him. He does it to EVERYONE trust me I’ve got this” she says. You smile at her “Thanks Carol” and you give her a hug. “Hey, what are friends for?” she says hugging you back. Just then you hear a knock at the door, Carol immediately dives under the bed like she’s undercover. You smile and shake your head but don’t say anything. You open the door and see Noah holding something big and rectangular covered over in a black cloth.
  18. “You ready?” he asks. “Uh, do I have to dress in black?” you ask. “You don’t have to, but it’d be a good idea” he says. You shrug, “Okay just give me a minute” you close the door and go over to Carol. “Ahem, what was the stunt for?” you ask. “Hey, just trying to NOT make this awkward” she says getting up. “Okay then, could you turn around or something I have to get changed.” You say. “Yeah I heard it’s okay I’ll just climb out the window” she says getting up. A little known fact about Carol, SHE LOVES HEIGHTS, unlike most girls in your class she wouldn’t scream or freak out when you went rock climbing on that field trip last October. In fact she was the only one who made it to the very top of the highest and trickiest course in the entire building. She even did a dramatic cheer that got everyone to applaud like mad. So climbing down from a window four stories up from the ground was easy for her. “See you later flirtygator” she says before carefully climbing out of the window. You look down and make sure she doesn’t fall down, but as you suspected she has no problem getting down. You decide to change and find out that Warren managed to pack a few black things here and there so you don’t have trouble creating an all-black outfit to go in. You open the door and find Noah still waiting patiently, “You ready” he asks. “Yup, so let’s go” you say excitedly. You had no idea what Noah was planning, but you could tell it was something good based on what he was carrying. You both walk to the door and you pass Carol who has a few branches in her long hair, you pick them out when Noah isn’t looking and usher her away. To which she gives you a thumbs up as you’re walking out the door.
  19. You see that it’s a full moon tonight. You look at Noah, but he doesn’t turn into anything weird. You suddenly realize you have no idea what Noah is. “Hey Noah… are you an immortal?” you ask him. He shakes his head, “I’m just a regular human being with no powers or magic abilities” he says not sounding sad about it either. “Oh… I’m sorry” you say. “No it’s okay, I don’t mind too much. I’ve lived with magic and immortals enough that I don’t even need powers to be special. I have my friends and family, that’s all I need” he says continually walking.
  20. You follow him and feel the moon gaze down upon you. “So are you going to give me a hint about what we’re going to do?” you ask. “No, that would ruin the surprise. I love receiving surprises myself, don’t you ____? You know when you came from inside and puked on the lawn I received no hint about that happening at all, but I was happy because you surprised me. I enjoyed lying next to you on the ground, it’s really the little things in life that are special to us… don’t you think so?” he asks. You feel touched when he says how you were basically special to him “I remember you talking about how I was like the moon… did you mean it?” you ask. “I did, and I always will” he says smiling at you. As you start to walk away from the sidewalks the streetlights get dimmer and dimmer as you get closer to the park. You see it has a big pond with no fish inside it, you find yourself staring at the pond curiously. “Why do they have a pond here?” you ask. “I don’t know” you swear that’s the first time that guy has ever said those three words in his life.
  21. “I want to show you the surprise ____” Noah says. He inches his hand over to the cloth, “You know why I asked you to wear black?” he asks. “It’s because the surprise won’t work very well if we wear reflective clothing. They need moonlight” he explains. “Who needs moonlight?” you ask confused. Noah lifts off the cloth and instantly you see a blue glow emitting from the water tank with several pressurized tubes. You see two jellyfish reflecting the moonlight off of their intricate designs wrapped around their heads and stingers. You feel mesmerized as you’ve never seen anything more weird and beautiful at the same time. “These are known as Moonlight Jellyfish. I’ve had them since I went to Atlantis. I’ve never found any good names for them… so I thought you could pick their names instead” he explains. You look at him and want to hug him, but you know that’d be stupid because he’s carrying a pressurized tank with his pet jellyfish. Instead you stare into his eyes, and you see the moonlight glow reflecting in his eyes. You suddenly feel mesmerized in his eyes, more than the jellyfish. You smile “I know exactly what to call them…
  22. Noah smiles “it’s perfect, now we have to set them in the pond” he says. You blink in surprise, “can they handle that?” you ask. “No, I’m not letting them out of their tank. I’m putting the tank in the pond” he explains. You have a confused look on your face but once he puts the tank in, the whole pond is glowing blue and it looks like an enchanted pond… just for the two of you. “It looks amazing” you say taking it all in. “True, but not as amazing as you are” he says smiling. He holds out his hand “can I have this dance?” he asks staring into your eyes. “But there’s no music” you say. “What are you talking about, I hear music everywhere. I hear it in the moon, I hear it in the stars, I hear it in the pond… and I hear it in you” he says. You look in his eyes and see the swirled colour of his hazel eyes bursting with enchantment of shimmering light from the moon. You take his hand, “I hear it in you too” was all you could say. He puts his arms around your waist and you start slow dancing. It feels like you’re the only two people in the world, there isn’t anything out there that could ruin this perfect moment. Your body sways gently with his like a peaceful pendulum on the clock of frozen time.
  23. It feels almost like magic, you have to remind yourself that he’s just an ordinary guy and there’s nothing powerful about him. Then you feel like that statement is wrong… everything about him IS special in every way, magical or not, he’s unlike any guy you’ve ever met. You both get very close; you wrap your arms around his neck and smile. “This is the best date, I’ve ever been on” you say. “Same, because I’m with you” he says. Your eyes flutter and you feel his lips gently kissing you. You feel your stomach explode with butterflies and you want to hold onto this moment forever. Then you realize you can… but you don’t. You don’t want to take away the magic, that Noah doesn’t have, yet the normal guy is casting a spell over you without magic. You both release each other and you touch his hair again. “You’re amazing” he says and you smile.
  24. After a few hours of slow dancing you both sit near the pond and look at it. He talks about the jellyfish for a bit. “Did you know that jellyfish have lived even before dinosaurs roamed the earth?” he says to you. “No, how old are your jellyfish?” you ask. “I have no idea” he says to you for the second time. You laugh, “I kind of like it when you don’t know things” you say. “Why’s that?” he asks. “Because you aren’t a know it all” you say. “No, I’m a Noah-all” he jokes. You both laugh over the silly pun and he gets his jellyfish tank. Then he puts the cloth over it and the glow fades away. “Their glow can only be triggered by moonlight, that’s why the glow fades away” he says. You nod, “that makes sense” you say.
  25. You both walk to the house and he looks at you. “Do you know how we met?” he asks. You shake your head “No I don’t actually” you say. “You and I were in a prison cell. Cold, damp, and dark. Everyone was being slowly executed because of their crimes against nature. You were saved for last and I was second last. Just as the guard opened my cell I shocked him with his own electric rod and he fell down paralysed. I fought off the rest of the guards to save you, and I managed to survive even though they were all supernatural. I opened your cell and you hugged me so tightly that I didn’t care if I couldn’t breathe. We both worked as a team to get out and I’ve been with you ever since. Although this happens in the future when they figure out that you exist. They’re going to do everything in their power to either kill you or enslave you. So I figured, since I saved you before, I could very well save you again.” He explains. You feel tears well up inside your eyes and you wipe them away. “Why did you save me if that was the first time we’d met?” you ask. “Because, you were insisting on saving someone. You never said who, but you were desperate. I thought to myself that if I help you, maybe you’d save them and be happy. It hurt me to see such beauty in peril, so that’s why I helped” he explains. You can’t stop the tears running down your face as he’s explaining; you get the nerve to say the only two words that matter. “Thank you” you say looking at him. He smiles, “your welcome” he says.
  26. When you get to the house you can hear voices coming from inside. You open the door and see Devin and Seth yelling at each other relentlessly. They don’t notice you but you stay silent and listen in horror as Devin yells “Look Seth, you can take her out to coffee all you want. But I swear if you make the same mistakes, I’m going to make sure you don’t lay a finger on her ever again” Devin says sternly. “I was an idiot then, I didn’t know any better” Seth says back. “Oh okay then, well if you decide to be an idiot again I’ll be there, and trust me when I say if you mess with her you mess with me. Got it?” Devin snaps back. Seth turns his head away, “yeah… yeah I got it” “Good” Devin storms off and Seth starts to breathe again.
  27. You uncover your mouth and slowly walk to the stairs trying to be unnoticed. “I know you heard all of that” Seth doesn’t even look at you. You freeze where you are. “H-h-how did you know I was-“ “I have telepathy, I can read people’s minds.” He interrupts. You walk over to him shyly, “I… I didn’t mean to eavesdrop I just-“ “no I get it _____, it’s not your fault” Seth says staring at the ground. You lift his head up “Look at me Seth, I don’t know what Devin was talking about. So could you please tell me what’s going on?” you say a bit demanding. He nods, “okay… I’ll tell you”
