Jingle bells don't moo, they quack!! booklover412: I hope you remember your password! :) But thanks, I wanted Kelly to just say whatever is on her mind. Aria: thank you for reading this :). And Kaylee is back in this part. xxblutixx: 16 and yeah, I had all of this written in my notes on my iPhone. Maybe it's a ghost, maybe it's not :P. Magicala: it's slowly coming. SoccerTomboy13: awesome! I guess we are half sisters then :P.

  1. **Back to Kaylee's POV** Black and purple swirls swept around me as I struggled to stay out of the black hole below. I heard whispers and laughs around me as I found myself sinking deeper into it. Black shadows tried to pull me deeper into the abyss. They tugged at me and for a minute, I fell deeper. "Get off of me! Get away!" I wailed and tried to shove them away. My hand flung out and I hit someone. "Shh. Kaylee, you're okay. It's alright, you're safe now." A women's voice said and I opened my eyes. At first, she was blurry and then I saw a pair of brown eyes stare into my blue ones. I sat up and looked around. "Where am I?" I asked. I was on a hospital bed, but I was still in my clothes. A bandage soaked in my blood covered my leg. "You're in a safe place. Kelly and Drake are here too." The women replied in a calming voice. "Where are they? What's going on?" I asked, panic rising in my voice. "They're coming." The women informed me. "Just relax." Kelly ran through the door, followed by Drake. "Thank God you're alive." Kelly said and then hugged me. "Thanks. But where are we?" I asked, my gaze drifting to the white curtains and hospital beds. "I'm not entirely sure. But this place is safe." Kelly assured me.
  2. "Where's Jason?" I asked when I noticed that he wasn't here. The woman dropped a tray filled with medical equipment when I said Jason's name. "Are you okay?" Kelly asked the women. "Y-yes. Fine." She stuttered and bent down to pick everything up. "Jason is outside. They won't let him inside." Kelly explained, turning her attention back to me. "Why not?" I asked. "Very long story that I would be happy to explain after dinner." Kelly said. "Come on, maybe fresh air will be good for you." Drake changed the subject and then helped me up. I looked down and saw a huge dark blood stain on my white skinny jeans. It was dark red more to the top of my leg, where I got shot, and faded into a light red the further down it went on my leg. In a way, I guess it would look cool if you take out the fact that I almost died. We walked out of the room and down this long hallway. Pictures of people lined one wall, almost like a timeline. We walked outside and I saw a bunch of little kids running around. I scanned the yard and didn't see Jason anywhere. "I thought you said Jason was out here." I said to Kelly, seeing a look of confusion on her face.
  3. "He was." Kelly said, looking around. "Kaylee." A whisper towards Drake's direction said my name. "What?" I asked Drake as I turned around. "I didn't say anything." Drake said. "Kaylee." The whisper said again, more urgent. I looked around, trying to figure out who said my name. I cautiously took a step towards the tree line, my senses on full alert. I felt Kelly and Drake follow me as I crept closer to the woods. I tried to look in the shadows, but it was too dark to see. But then, I saw a figure starting to come into view as it got closer. "Run." The voice whispered. More figures started to show up. "Run." The voice whispered, more urgent this time. "Run!" I screamed as I turned around and started limping back to the house. What happened next was pure chaos. Explosions went off around us, shots fired, the earth was literally shaking and rocks were flying everywhere. Through the smoke, I saw Kelly and Drake running towards the house. They turned around and I locked eyes with them.
  4. Just as Drake started running back towards me, fire erupted between us, and someone yanked me in the opposite direction. "What are you doing standing right in the middle of everything?!" Jason's voice yelled, close to my ear. "I tried to move, but in case you didn't notice, my leg is injured." I yelled back at him as he pulled me into the forest. "I noticed." Jason bluntly said. "What are you doing? We have to get back to the house." I said as I pulled my arm out of his grasp. "The house is about to leave." Jason said as he turned around to face me. "What do you mean?" I asked. "That house will magically disappear and go somewhere else." Jason explained. "How do you know that?" I asked. "I just do." Jason said. "Run." The voice whispered and then I heard rustling coming from bushes. I quickly turned around and started running as fast as I could through the trees. I came to a clearing and saw four people standing there. One of them was the women at my school. "Surprised?" She snickered. I turned around and more people came, creating a circle around me.
  5. "Wait! Don't kill her!" One guy said when the women pointed her gun at me. "Why not?" She asked, not lowering her arm. "She could be useful." He said, looking me up and down, making me feel very uncomfortable. "How could this thing be useful? She does nothing but cause trouble." The women harshly said. "She led us to their location. Maybe we can use her as bait and find them quicker this time." He said and took a step towards me. I took a step back. "I doubt that'll work. They don't even know me." I pointed out. "Then why did they save you the first time? I'm willing to bet they'll come." The guy said and then waved his hand. Someone came up behind me and tied my arms behind my back. "Walk." He growled and shoved me forward, causing me to stumble a little bit. We trudged through the dense forest until sunset. One of them picked a spot to sleep and they started setting up camp. Another one of them grabbed me by the arm and pushed me against a tree. "This is where you're sleeping." He told me and then shoved me to the ground. He then got rope and tied me to the tree.
  6. One of them made a fire, but I was well out of the range of its heat. As night crept, I found myself shivering, and struggling to find a comfortable spot. But as soon as I closed my eyes, I found myself drifting into a blur of colors. I was back in that field. I looked down at my wrists and saw rope burns on them. "Kaylee!" Someone behind me yelled and I turned around and saw Kelly running at me. "Kelly!" I yelled back and ran to meet her. "Are you alright? What happened to you?" Kelly asked. "No, I'm not alright. It's awful. It hasn't even been a day and I'm already starting to cry." I said, my eyes tearing up. "What happened?" Kelly asked. "Jason pulled me away from the explosion and led me into the forest. Something told me to run, so I did. And then these people found me and the women from our school was there and she almost killed me. But some guy stopped her and said that I could be useful, so they took me with them." I quickly told her. "Useful how?" Kelly asked. "I don't know. Something about me being bait, so they can find the house again." I explained. "Okay. Well, there's something you need to know that I never got the chance to tell you...." Kelly started explaining everything to me. About The Shades, what we are, and what everyone at the house is.
  7. "So, we're called Premonitions?" I asked. "Yep." Kelly answered as I started pacing back and forth. "And The Shades want to kill us?" I confirmed. "Pretty much." Kelly said. "Great." I said sarcastically. "Look on the bright side: they haven't killed you yet." Kelly said, trying to sound enthusiastic. "Not helping. How's Drake?" I asked. "He's really mad at himself that he left you. He wanted to go back and find you, but as soon as the smoke cleared, there was not trace of you anywhere, and he thought you were dead." Kelly explained. "How did you get him to go back to the house?" I asked. "Well, after many attempts of trying to pull him to the house, a Manipulator came and persuaded him to come inside of the house." She told me. "Where are you guys now?" I asked. "We're somewhere in Pennsylvania. I don't know where though." Kelly said and then I started seeing the colors again. "I have to go now, I'm waking up. Bye, Kelly." I said. "Be careful." Kelly yelled as I got sucked into the color tornado.
  8. I woke up and saw that it was still night. Someone off to my right had a gun in his hands and was wandering around the camp. I quietly and very slowly started moving my hands under me, so they could be in front of me. Once I did that, I carefully moved out of the rope that was keeping me attached to the tree. As soon as I stood up, I took off running in the opposite direction of the camp. "Hey, you! Stop right there!" The night watcher commanded, but I kept on running. I crashed through trees and got a few scratches from the branches. I zig-zagged in-between the trees until I lost the guy chasing after me. I turned left and ran into someone, and realized that it was Jason. "Thank god it's you." I breathed. "I wouldn't be thanking him just yet." Jason said and then came towards me, forcing me to back up against a tree. "What are you doing?" I asked as he put his right hand on the tree behind me and his left hand on my waist. "Don't be afraid." Jason whispered and I instantly found all of my fear disappearing. "Just relax." He gently kissed me, and every muscle in my body relaxed. He kissed me again, and my mind blanked out.
