There are over 400 pokemon now, each of them with different traits and qualities. There are 17 types, Dragon, Fire, Grass, Poison, Ghost, Dark, Rock, Ground, Water, Ice, Bug, Flying, Electric, Steel, Psychic, Fighting, and Normal. Dragons are usually strong fighters who can hit almost anything. Firey pyros usually go after their opponents swiftly. Quiet grass types usually attack from behind cover, not wishing to risk themselves. Poisonous assassins usually deal heavy hits and infect their opponent with venoms. Deceptive Ghosts usually attack from the shadows, while dangerous darks will do whatever it takes to win. Solid Rock types usually defend heavy and attack when possible, never getting hurt to bad but always taking down their foes. Worldly earth types usually dont wait as long as rocks, but always take care to defend themselves. The numerous water types usually dont take sides, always being the one to solve the problem unbiased, except for the rare occaison that they attack like the Cold Ice types. The army of insect-like Bugs usually doesnt stop until needed, always deliverring heavy hits quickly. The numerous airborn Flying types usually strike and retreat, not wishing to get hurt but not that afraid. The quick witted Lightning types usually hit and hit and hit before their opponents can attack, while their smart Steel counterparts will take it slow and steady. The Psychic and Fighting types are different in battle style, but the same in attitude: they fight to win.
