  1. Training went well. You've basically mastered your elements. But you feel more power growing inside. You're all now eating in the cafeteria. Everyones laughing and having a great time. But all you can think about it your father. Why would he do that to your mom? If he loved her, Why would he leave her? He doesn't know she's dead, So you're going to tell him. No matter if he cares or not. You're going to find him before or after the battle. It's best to do it before the battle in case- "Sleep over at my room tonight!" Nakia Jae announces breaking you from your thoughts. All the girls in your group cheered. Sam, Phenix, You, Nakia, Lilah, and Syllabell stand up. {_______} gives you a goodnight kiss and you guys head over to Nakia's room.
  2. You guys laugh, listen to music, watch tv. Everyone's passed out but you and Nakia by midnight. "Babe, What's on your mind?" Nakia asks. You carefully choose your words. "I need help with something." You say. "Sure with what?" She asks. "Finding my father. He needs to know my moms dead and he needs to feel guilty about it." You say feeling relieved you got that out. "Okay, I'll help." She says. "Really?" You ask. "Of course! Now, close your eyes. Think about your father. A picture of him you might have once seen." She says. You do so. It's hard. But then you see a city. You see a man in his thirties. You've seen him somewhere, in the newspaper or something? He's with a girl about 10, and a woman his age. They look happen. The city name, "Chicago" dances in your vision.
  3. You tell Nakia Jae. She nods and tells you it should be right. You both get changed into different clothes. Nakia smirks at you. You can only imagine the look on your father's face when he finds out. You change into yellow skinny jeans, and graphic t-shirt and your regular shoes. Same as Nakia. Might as well match right? "Ready?" Nakia asks. You nod. "Of course I am." You say. Nakia grabs your hand and you teleport. It's dark in Chicago. Quiet too. You're both standing in front of a house about 2 or three stories high. You start walking to it. "Are you sure this is it?" Nakia asks. "Nope." You say but continue walking. You knock on the door.
  4. The woman from your mind opens the door. "Hello, May I help you?" She says with a smile smile looking at you to Nakia. "We need to speak with your husband." You say. She gives you a frown, you realize what she might be thinking. "Alright, Come in then." She says and you walk in. You don't thank her but Nakia does. "Matt! Would you come here please?" Says the woman. The 10 year old comes running towards the lady. "Mommy! I'm hungry!" She says. Your jaw clenches. A half sister, you're happy, but also angry. The man walks in. "What is it Beth?" He asks and looks at you and Nakia. You smirk. "I'm Nakia, and that's [_______]." Nakia says awkwardly. "Pleasure to meet you both." Matt says not taking his eyes off of you. I look like my mother, good, you think. "But, whatever are you doing in my home?" He asks. "Does the name Sarafina ring a bell?" You ask without hesitation. He looks shocked. Beth looks at him in confusion. "I never heard of her?" She says. "I'm sure you haven't." You say giving her a disapproved look. She gawks at you. "How did you-" Matt starts. "Hey Dad." You cut him off losing your smile.

Beth looks at him in confusion. "I never heard of her?" She says. "I'm sure you haven't." You say giving her a disapproved look. She gawks at you. "How did you-" Matt starts. "Hey Dad." You cut him off losing your smile.
  6. Matt just stood there too shocked to say anything. "Matthew! You never told me you had another daughter!" Beth says. "Oh! He does. One he abandoned along with my mother!" You shout losing your cool. "Oh! And guess what 'Dad'! She's dead!Did you know that? And she didn't even keep me! She was afraid to with you gone! She sent me to you stupid mundanes!" You continue. You feel the air shifting like in the training room. Tears sting your eyes. The 10 year old looks up at you in fright. "[_______], Calm down." Nakia says. The 10 year old runs to you and grasps onto your leg. "Renee! Get back from her!" Beth says unable to look away from your changing eyes. "She's obviously not human!" She adds. "It's okay mom. I know her." Renee says.
  7. Everything stops at once. The airs normal as well as yourself. "W-what?" Nakia asks looking at you. You shrug. "I've seen her in my dreams. She tells me stories, and we go on long walks." Renee says. "I-I have never seen her before." You say in confusion. Then you shift your eyes back to your father. He looks at you with apoligetic eyes. "I was only afraid. That's why I left. I'm sorry." He says. "Sorry doesn't make up for almost 17 years of my life." You say calmly. "Or my moms." You add. You look back at Renee and kneel down. "When was the first time you saw me?" You ask. "Last month. You came to the meadow crying saying you wanted to go back home. I asked you what was wrong and you said these three guys kidnapped you." She says. You and Nakia stare in disbelief. That must have been the night of the mall!
  8. "You told me everything, you told me stories of battles, and warriors, and you mentioned the girl Sarafina a couple days ago." Renee says. "Impossible.." Nakia says. "Oh it's possible!" Matt says. You look at him with cold eyes. "How?" You ask. "Because, She has a little bit of you in her." He says. Beth doesn't like that and looks at him. You don't say anything. "How could you have kept this from me?!" She says in rage. "I was only protecting you." He says. "How could she have some of me in her..?" You ask. "Blood. She has some of your blood. I don't know how but she just does." Matt says. "And how do we know you're not screwing around with us?" Nakia says. "Because, I have the proof." he says. You and Nakia exchange glances. "Explain." You say. "Follow me." he says and you both do so with Renee following. He leads you to a room. It must have been off limits to Renee because she hesitated before going in.
  9. You see diagrams and pictures of blood samples. You have to admit, you're amazed. "Okay so now what?" You ask. "Well here give me your hand." He says. You raise your eye brows at him and extend your arm. He pricks your finger with a needle and puts it under the microscope. "See? They're the exact same." He says. "Impossible.." Nakia says again. "So she's not human?!" Beth exclaims. You glare at her. "You act as if she's some freak." You say with a smirk. She gives you a disgusted look. "She's only half human. She should be getting powers here soon." Matt says. Beth gives out a little scream and leaves the room. "Glad she's gone." Nakia says and you giggle. Renee grabs your hand. "You told me of a place where there's people just like you. I wanna go." She says. "Uh.." Nakia says. Matt nods. "It would be best. She'll be protected there." He says. You look at Nakia. "What would Raven do?" You ask. "She'd be very upset we left without telling but she would be very interested into finding out what she can do." Nakia says.
  10. Nakia grabs onto your hand. "Bye Da-Uh Matt." You say. "Good-bye my beauties." He says. "By Daddy." Renee says. You feel bad at that moment. You teleport to Nakia's room. Everyone's still passed out. "Come on." Nakia whispers and goes out of the room. You walk down the hallway and into the room with double doors and you see Raven looking up at the pictures like the first time you met her. "You brought someone." Raven says and turns around. You hear Renee gasp. "Yes, She.. She's my half sister. My father had her with a mortal and we were told she has some of my blood in her." You say. "And how do you know this?" Raven asks. You fear she might already know the answer. "I tracked down my father." You say. "And you make him guilty about leaving your mother." Raven finishes. Wow shes good. "Yes." You say. "Well I can see the resemblance between you two. What is your name child?" Raven says. "Renee." Renee says. "May I?" Raven says taking Renee's hand. Renee nods. "Interesting. You have met in dreams?" Raven says looking at you. "I don't remember any of it. But she does." You say. Raven nods. "Tomorrow. We find out her powers. Until then. Rest and prepare for the battle." Raven says. Renee must know what she means because she doesn't question about the battle.
