I guess sitting on the ledge of a balcony at 2am wasnt the best idea but me and Juliet sure seemed to be having a good time, we had been up here for hours just joking and talking about the universe. A couple years ago we would have been able to see over the wall that closed the city off from the world outside but now its hidden by a fake sky, still the Control family did their best to make the sky look beautiful, It was like there wasn't any lights in the city and it all looked 100% real.

Juliet said stupidly, I laughed almost falling but caught myself so I didn't "just wondering what Devin is doing right now" I said smiling at the mention of his name, even his name made me happy I don't know what it is about him but hes different then everyone else "He's sleeping just like everyone else in the city, you already know other then a couple security guards were the only ones up" She said putting a hand on my solder, I smiled and nodded, I didn't really pay attention to her after that because all I could think about was jumping, maby if I did I wouldn't have to worry about Kylie and Devin, or my dad, or anything, it would all be okay. But I remembered something, even If I did Cc would catch me he was my best friend after all and she knows what its like to be a "freak".
  4. ~the next morning~ Ruri's dads p.o.v "I got all day here buddy, and we're not leaving, now you wipe that f---ing smirk off your face open you GOD DAMMED MOUTH AND GIVE ME SOME F----- ANSWERS" I yelled at the boy sitting in the chair next to me, he had been identified as Ricky Horror though I highly doubt that's his real name. The boy stayed quiet, "Look, who are you... or what the f--- are you?" I asked quietly. My phone vibrated and I walked slowly to get it "Warner" I answered "This is only the beginning" A voice said "Who is this?" I asked staring at the boy in front of me "You can tell me where she Is now, or you can tell me later, either way it ends the same for you" The voice said "who the f--- are you" I asked again, this time I got the shadows to take him out of the room just in time to see my little girl sitting on a bench waiting for me.

I asked, he was looking at a guy in one of the holding cells who was just staring at me, "dad?" I asked again, he finally snapped and nodded "yeah lets go creepy one" He said walking me out taking one last glance at the guy ~timeskip~ We spent a wile at my cafe which I ran with my friend Juliet, my dad told me about the boy in the cell, somehow that name sounded familiar Ricky Horror..... "So have you been? like hows school and everything?" my dad asked "great really its just work for me I don't really need an education" I said stupidly, my dad just put on his 'I understand' face and his phone vibrated he reluctantly picked it up

"Oh my god.... close off the police station, get shadows to watch over make sure he doesn't get out, Ill be there in a minute" he hung up the phone and looked at me "I have to go love ill see you later" he said kissing my head and running out of the cafe, I sighed and walked behind the counter tying my hair up and putting on an apron. I heard the clicking of heels coming down the street and saw one of my friends Sammi Doll, she got an apron and started making some food "Be warned I think I saw Kylie coming down the street with Ella" she said pretending to smile "Why?" I asked rolling my eyes "because she started walking with her and Ella is too nice to say 'f--- off'" Sammi replied setting the food in front of a costumer, that did sound like her though Ella was too nice to turn anyone down even someone she hated

A couple minutes later Ella walked in slowly behind Kylie, she speed ran to the back avoiding me like I was about to murder her, I fake smiled at Kylie as she sat down in front of us "what would you like?" Sammi asked, she just put her finger up and started texting, I sighed and she waited for a couple minutes before saying "Hello? are you gonna order anything" Kylie looked up at her and rolled her eyes "Look your being extremely rude right now, can I have one minute please?" she asked, Sammi glared at her and nodded, I could tell some of the costumiers were getting uncomfortable with the looks Sammi and me were giving her so I went to the back with Ella. She was just putting a few thing away when she saw me, she gave me a look that said 'so sorry' but I just smiled, "its okay" I said helping her, "so what about tonight, calling the corners, are we really gonna do it?" I asked. "everyone is so sure we are but i'm not we could be in deep s--- for this like if god really does exist" she said giggling at the end for no reason

Sammi opened the door to tell us Juliet was here, we both smiled and walked out the door, "Hey Mama's" I said, she smiled and waved, out of all of us she was the second most comfortable with her body, so she was wearing shorts and a Beetles tank top, Kylie gave her an evil glare and went back to texting, "hey Snakey" she said grabbing her guitar "you ready?" she asked handing me it to me, I nodded and we both went to the front of the shop were the floor was elevated a bit to make it look like a stage, Juliet put her hat down so people could donate money. "Hi my names Juliet, this Is one of my three best friends Ruriko, this song is called black ink revenge and it goes like this" she said, the entire cafe looked our way wile they were eating and smiled as Juliet sang, Kylie keeped glaring at her and by the time the song was over both of us were fed up with it,

After we finished the people in the cafe clapped for us and Juliet handed me the mic, I was about to say something but froze when I saw Devin walk in and sit down next to Kylie, I stayed there for about 5 minutes trying to speak until I finally said "All the money you donate goes to the Forks mental asylum, helping the sick" I said, once I did people got up putting money in the hat, I got up quickly running into the back and closing the door, Sammi tried to stop me but I just avoided her, why was he here? in my cafe? why did he choose MY cafe out of all of them in the city? "Nope your not doing this come out" Juliet said opening the door, "you cant just run from him forever" "I can and I will" I said starting to put things away again, Juliet grabbed me by my solders and pushed me out the back locking the door so I couldn't get back inside. "I WILL PISS IN EVERY WATER BOTTLE YOU OWN" I yelled at her forgetting Devin was a couple feet away, he chuckled making Kylie roll her eyes again. I smiled knowing that I was getting to her

I asked with my head down, I held my breath, if he did answer this would be the first time he ever talked to me directly, "I would murder the emperor right now for a Doritos Taco, does anyone make those anymore?" He asked, his voice calmed me down and I smiled at what he said, I nodded "Do you make them here?" he asked, I nodded again, "Can I have one?" again I nodded, "I'd ask another question but you might break your neck" I laughed and looked up at him, his face lit up "hey I know you!! you helped me when I was being chased by shadows" he said laughing "Yep that's me" I said shrugging "so Doritos Taco what would you like Kylie?" I asked stupidly saying her name, she gave me a weird look but finally ordered a salad. It took a few minutes but I got the food out to them only to see Juliet sitting with them talking and laughing, she saw me and made me sit down, "so Kylie your a photographer?" she asked "well yeah I was but I haven't picked up a camera in over a year now ive been too busy, plus whats left to take photos of?" she answered "true once the war ended everything was beautiful out there, I wish they never put that stupid wall up" I said with a sigh

"So me and Kylie are going to the Controls masquerade ball tomorrow and it would be awesome if you guys came with us" Devin said, but before I could think Juliet had already told them we were going, she bugged me sometimes but I knew she was doing it for me, "great meet us by the gates at about 8:00 and we'll pay for you" "uhhh no we can pay" I said, Kylie half smiled and they both left with a goodbye
