Yeah, Adam Young said he wrote Fireflies when he went to camp and saw them; he also once said he ate a burrito and then wrote it.

He said he calls himself Owl City because he saw a bunch of owls in the woods, but i've also heard it's because he lives in Owatanna, and that means Owl City.
