"deliberate injury to oneself, typically as a manifestation of a mental condition" is the google definition of self-harm. It's common mostly in teens.
It's advised if you are struggling with self-harm you seek help immediately. If you are recovering, I wish you a good recovery and if you aren't, I hope you find the motivation to recover :)
