Of all the Dracos out there, your version is very close to the 'original', retaining his swagger and arrogant attitude while at the same time showing a soft side to him. I was quite glad to find a true version of him because most of the other fan-fics had distorted his character to such an extent that he didn't remain Draco at all! I don't mean to offend other writers but that's how I felt. I expect Draco to behave exactly as he is doing in your story.Your version of Draco is my favourite one so far and I have complete faith in you quizmaker, even if your Draco isn't nice enough at the moment! ;) Btw, The train scene was brilliant!

Aw, thanks! I still struggle with portraying emotions and going through with subplots (I'm still trying to work out the kinks in my family background), but I don't really plan on pursuing a career in writing so I just do it for fun. I would say if you want to write your own story, definitely go for it, but reading is just fine if not. :) It took me quite a while to post anything on here when I first joined.

@hp4evr Thanks so much! I'm smiling like an idiot at the moment, just for the record :). I really do try to preserve his original character, so it's difficult to make him show a soft side sometimes. I'm excited to portray him in the sixth and seventh years when he becomes a little more vulnerable, but I'm still determined not to let him become a complete pile of mush.

So bad, some of my friends don't like it either. I actually had a row with one girl who said I was mad to read books, I should pay attention to my studies! I told her my studies are perfectally fine and she should bother about her own. Reading broadens your vision and it is helpful for studies as well but unfortunately, most of my age fellows think it as a waste of time! :(

I said the same to my friend who is a twilight fan and she said, 'Oh come on, M, you are just so childish!' She had no other thing to say. I told her that I've read Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte and other great writers but my love for Harry Potter is eternal and nothing could change it because it is close to my heart! :)

I can't pick myself but I really liked Goblet of Fire, Order of Phoenix and Halfblood prince as well! I read them in two days (for each) with school and tests which failed to stop me from reading! I am so much a Potter enthusiast that my friends try to irritate me by saying Twiloght and Hunger games are far much better. I took it as a challenge and read them although I was predetermined to rate them below Harry Potter. :)

Thanks for the shout-out! :D You really made my day despite the fact that I have a stupid Biology test coming which I haven't prepared. Back to release, it was good and I simply adore your writing style! Well, I should go back to studying now, because I actually don't want to fail. Just keep up with the good work! :)

Same here but technology can also be helpful in promoting reading. I have more than thirty books downloaded in my phone which I intend to read. It is up to us to decide the use, but then people always use it for useless reasons and take the wrong message.

Yeah, I'm a very diverse reader as well. I still read books that I find in the "children's" section, but I read classic novels and adult fantasies too. As long as I like the story, I don't need to be limited to a certain age group. Sadly, my friends don't like reading at all! :(

Yes, and I would never had the oppurtunity to meet such an amazing writer! I also sometimes think to write my own story but then I realise my expression is mediocre and language pathetic! So, I think it to be a better option to dwell in someone else's thought. :)

I never hated him but that was because I read Deathly Hallows first! I remember I got it for my eleventh birthday when it was released and I didn't care whether I had spoilt the ending for myself! XD So, I always knew he wasn't that much bad. :)
hp4evr1 -
@hp4evr I have a lot of that inner evilness myself XD. I hated Draco at first, but now he's actually one of my favorite characters (and it also has nothing to do with either romantic interest or Tom Felton). I just relate to him more.
music8261 -
Yeah, whenever I tried American accent, I sounded stupid! It is just not my type. :) It may also be because of thie fact that I am tuned to a British one that makes it difficult to imitate American accent.
hp4evr1 -
I prefer paper books myself, but as long as literature doesn't die out, I'm fine with whatever form it takes. After all, without my laptop I couldn't have started writing on here. :)

@hp4evr I call myself a Slytherclaw. I get either Ravenclaw or Slytherin every time, but I think I'm probably more of a Ravenclaw. Even on Pottermore, I have both houses. I think I need the actual Sorting Hat to decide for me XD.
music8261 -
@hp4evr Aw, thanks! :) And good luck with the test! I have a few coming up that I should probably study for, too. :P
@liz_king97 Thanks, I really needed to hear that; I'm kind of at a writing roadblock right now. :/ I'm still waiting for Part 2 of your series as well!

Learning a second language is difficult especially if you don't have contact with any native speaker. I think I have picked a British accent, thanks to Harry Potter films!
hp4evr1 -
Actually, no! I tried learning Spanish, but studying a second language didn't turn out to be my greatest skill. I'd say if you wanted to write a story in English, it wouldn't be an issue at all. :)
music8261 -
Do you have a different native language? I would have never guessed! I've lived in the US my entire life and some of the population here can't speak English half as well as you.
music8261 -
Great! I always get Ravenclaw, I don't know why and my friends call me Hermione but topping the class doesn't make you Hermione! They just don't understand!
hp4evr1 -
You are doing a great job! I really liked your portrayal of him!:) You may call it my inner evilness, but I like him more than Harry himself (it has got nothing to do with the actor who plays him).
hp4evr1 -
Thanks for wishing luck but unfortunately, I always HAVE tests! I wish I was in lower grades when we didn't had to study much. :( Ah well, good luck with your tests as well. :)
hp4evr1 -
I completely agree; I wish more of the younger generation would read. I like technology, but I'd much rather read than watch television all day.
music8261 -
@hp4evr I've read all three of those series as well. I'm not much of a fan of Twilight, and I liked The Hunger Games, but I have yet to find a series I love more than Harry Potter. :)
music8261 -
@hp4evr It's hard to decide! I really enjoyed the Goblet of Fire and the Order of the Phoenix, though I think all of the books had something special for me.
