Highlights Part 8

I'm adding a twist to this story so head up. Shout out goes to....... FAITH! Congratz! thx for being the first to comment! well summer might be really long so i'm going to be working on this story alot. Oh and for the resluts, I'm just going to put discribtions.

  1. RECAP: The group has split up cuz of the car crash. Shay and Derek came back for you but Shay got captured. Chase heard but has to make a decision to either find you or rescue Shay. Now Tyson knows where ur going and he's going to find you!
  2. **YOUR POV** you feet feel like they were going to fall off. So far, hitching hiking was failing. Cars past you guys and it started to rain. "This is the worst day ever." You say to break the silence. "I've had worst..." Derek turns to you. "You kids need a lift?" You turn and saw a women in a toyota. "Yes plz. Our car broke down in the middle of nowhere and we're just trying to get home." You say. "Well, I might have room. Get in." The women says. You swing open the car door but Derek shuts it. "Tyson's worker." He whispers. "Something wrong??" The women asks. "We'll walk. It's probably not that far." Derek says. His voice turns to a growl. "he next town is bout, well, all i can say is that it's a really long walk. Now Get in the car Derek." She snaps. "We never told you our names." You say. The lady's face went pale. Derek kicked the car and it flew against a tree. You start to run toward the lady but Derek stop you. "She has white highlights. She can create force fields. She's fine." He says. "But.... You said no powers!" You say. "Tyson already knows where we are. what's the point then?" He snaps. "Then let's just walk. Or maybe even Teleport! Jacky did say green highlights have all the powers." You say. "Well..." Derek turns red. "I never learned to teleport." He mutters. "I can try." You say. "No ___________. It's to dangerous! You could teleport to a weird planet! Or maybe infront of Tyson." He says. "Just let me try. Your going wherever i'm going so thn you can protect me." You say. "Fine." He hold your hand. You think of the only place that you every loved.
  3. NEW YORK CITY! It's night there. Derek looks around. "New York? Really?" He asks. "Hey! at least I got us here!" You crack some laughs and smiles. "guess we can catch a bus to Buffalo. I know someone who lives there. His name's Carlos. He has purple highlights like Chase." He says. You nod. "Did Kola teach you how to rob an ATM?" You ask. He shakes his head.
  4. You go up to the ATM and try out some powers. You put some distance so the camera wont see you. You put out your hand and feel a small surge of power fly. The ATM throws money out and Derek collects it. The camera broke since the energy was that strong. "Lets get out of here." You guys stick the money in you pockets and head toward the train station. "I thought you said bus." You say. "Yea but we have enough for a train tickets." He says.
  5. **TYSON'S POV** I felt lots of energy but they know better. Was there another green out there? I must be loosing my mind. "Go pay ___________ a visit thn. Derek wont know becuz i'll go with you." I turned and saw Charlie. "Can I trust you?" i asked. "Of course." She smiles. "We leave at 7." I snap.
  6. **YOUR POV** You're on the train with Derek. The train was pretty empty. "Why didn't we teleport again?" You ask. "It's bad enough Tyson knows we're in New York. I'm hoping he doesn't rmember Carlos." He says. The train finally stops. 'Let's go.' You hear in your mind. He takes your hand and guides you threw the crowd of people. "Wait, Derek." You say. You're out of the train and he turns around. "What?" He asks. "Jacky said same color higlights can talk threw their minds. How come Tyson can talk to me threw my mind?" You ask. "He can't. He knows you will hear him and probably talk out loud. He probably has a hidden hologram of his around to listen an that probably how. He's always sneaky." Derek says. "Well, it looks like it's 7. We'll probably be at Carlos's plc in 30 mins." He says. "Let's go." You say. You start walking but Derek just laughs. "______, it's this way." He points the other way. You turn red and start walking that way...
  7. **TYSON'S POV** Me and Charlie were hidden. Charlie was changed her look (that means she's a white highlight) and I'm dressed like a poor guitar player. I played some random songs and just waited. When _______ and Derek came into view, they were having fun. "I'm ready Tyson" I heard. "Copy." I spoke back in the microphone. I started to create holograms around in the shadows. When Derek stepped in the target spot, we attacked.
  8. **YOUR POV** These guys jumped out at us. "Tyson! Where are you!?" Derek yelled as the guys started closing in on us. Then this girl came out. Her face changed to some brazilian with an exotic tan. She had curly brown hair with white higlights and brown eyes. She came charging at us but derek stepped infront of her before she touched me. He grabbed her and threw her across the room. The guys started running and I concentrated. I looked at the ground and motioned it around us. It made a huge rock sidewalk wave and pushed them back. "Your really good at this all power thing huh?" Derek asks. I guess. Then someone grabbed my arm. Last thing I saw was Derek reaching for me before I relized I was back at Tyson's hideout. "I'm so glad Ethan followed us."You turned and see Tyson and a tall, buff guy with pink highlights. "s---." You think.
  9. You think of teleporting back to the train station but something block you. You open your eyes and see a girl standing next to Tyson and the buff guy who's Ethan. "Gotta love black highlights" Tyson smirks. "Fck you Tyson." You spit at his feet. "Let me just explain." He says. "I wont listen." You snap. "Such a stubborn child." The girl says. "Enough Megan. Ethan go back and grab Charlie. bring Derek too." He says. Ethan nods and disappears.
  10. "SOMEONE GET SHAY IN HERE! OH AND I NEED A TELEPORTER TO FIND THE OTHERS!" Tyson yells. "NO!" You try to move but Megan was controling you. You try your powers but they wont work. "Idiot girl. I am a very strong black highlight. I know more moves then normal." She says is a British accent. "Well I learn on first moves." You say and try to control her to stop. The lady has this constipated look on her face and breaks loose. You look around but Megan grabs you again. "You B!tch!" She yells. "I'm back." You turn and see Ethan and Charile. Derek was out cold on Ethan's shoulders. Megan lets me go and Ethan throws Derek at my feet. "Derek!" You yell. He coughed out blood. "_____!" You turn and see the entire group. "Tyson found us and it's all my fault!" You broke down crying. "Oh my God Derek!" Jacky yells. You look at her and something surprised you. Tyson was next to her and was trying to wake Derek up. "Get up Bro." He whispers.
  11. Kyle hold you hand and you see Chase. Chris was crying. You look at Jacky and she was sobbing. This was finally clear. "no!" You yell. You shake Derek but end up pounding on his chest. "YOU CANT DIE!" You yell. You keep pounding him but stop. Tyson clear the room but lets Ethan stay. You were tired and was laying on Derek's chest. There was no heart beat. You couldn't stop crying. Jacky was sleeping against Chris. You see everyone holding hands except for Tyson and Chase. Chase came up and whispers something. "Tori's going to teleport you guys out of here. I'm staying here. Call me when something happens." He says. He kisses you cheek and walk away. Tori closes her eyes and you all get teleported.
  12. You look up and see some log cabin. "Kit's not home." Jacky says. Your still on Derek. Stroking his hair slowly. "Please come back." You whisper. Everyone leaves you there with Derek's corps. "I'm..... still.... here...." you hear a faint call in your head. Derek squeezes your hand weakly. You jump and start crying again. You hug him. "YOUR BACK! GUYS HE'S BACK!" You yell. Everyone runs out. Jacky ran to him the fastest. "Derek!?? Are you ok?" she asks. He cracks a smile and continues to cough up blood. You stroke his hair and suddenly feel sick. You push Derek out and run out to the woods. "______!" You hear Chris call. You keeps running and stop and a stream. You collapse. You crawl to the water and wash your face. You see Tyson across the river. You use your powers and throw ice spears at him. The hologram faded and you start to cough up blood too. You feel horrible and dip your face in the water. You come back up and see Tyson next to you. "Get away from me." You say. you use earth powers and create a wall. "The plauge. You don't understand. There's another group after you! Haven't you noticed most of these guys that ambushed you dont have highlights?? My group has highlights but we cant find you. They let loose a plauge that starts to kill highlights slowly." He says. "Then why aren't you infected?" You ask. "I don't know. Ethan didn't hurt Derek. The plauge got him." He says. "I have to go back." You say but cough up blood again.
  13. You teleport to them and see the group around Derek. "I have to tell you guys something!" You say and stumble to the ground. Kyle come but you stop him. "There's a group that want's highlights gone." You turn slowly and see Tyson's hologram. "I'm a hologram btw, theres a group that is hunting you guys down. They want highlights dead. I found out one of my workers, Andy, died. He managed to tell us before he died from this plauge. You need to get back here. We have the cure. ________ and Derek seem to have the plauge. They're dieing slowly. Derek was close to die. now get back here!!" Tyson yells. "We have no choice. Tori get us there." Jacky says. "You going to be fine." Kyle says. "Go. I'll get Derek there. You guys go first." You say. "Can't get you infected." You say. You look up and see Simon waving bye. They teleported away. You crawl to Derek. You teleport to Tyson's place and see people injecting Needles into you guys. "Take themto the infermary!" Tyson yells. Then ou black out
  14. Cliffhanger! ok so this is a twist. Ok so these people are based on real friends. It turns out Tyson doesn't want to be the bad guy anymore... So I came up with this infection because I was watching resident evil. Yes I'm just that awesome. Ok. so I'm going to add a new villian I just made up. You'll meet him in part 9. so Who do you like????
