  • I will always love Pittsburgh. Live in Oklahoma and own a bar and restaurant in OKC. We sell Myron Cope's Terrible Towels. I am still made fun of for referring to a group of items and say "these ones". I even had a cat named Nebby. And trying to say the Oklahoma ya'all with a Pittsburgh accent youinsall.

  • "Pop" is not only a Pittsburgh thing. Many people in the Midwest call it "pop". However, Pittsburghers seem to be unaware that it is called anything else but "pop".

If you ask for a soda at a restaurant in Pittsburgh, there's a good chance the waitress/waiter will bring you a cub soda.

It wasn't until I was 18 years old and in college (and made my first real acquaintances with non-Pittsburghers) that I realized that most of the country did not know what pop was.

  • Left Pittsburgh area in 61. Get the Steeler Digest and cheering on THE STEELERS when they come to Raven's Stadium.

I keep telling my wife all about Kennywood and all the great school trips that I've had there. She wants to go. She surprized me with tickets to a Steeler game with the Saints. Stayed there at the Point and was able to walk over the bridge to the game. Had a great time! Got 100 on quiz. HERE WE GO STEELERS !

  • 99% and proud of it! My parents are from Confluence and Ursina. I've spent the past 50 years visiting my favorite state, PA. My grandparents, bless them both, truly loved Confluence and its people. Thank you Pennsylvania for allowing them to enjoy you for more than 90 years. Although they're both gone, I'll be back!!!

  • Been gone now for 45 years - since I got my degree from the inverted mine shaft. Prior to that I did home delivery for the Pgh Press, listened to Rege Cordic in the mornings, patronized the Lexington, worked @ Hmstd Wrks via The Hole in the Wall, and rode the double-ender 59 to Homeville when I was too tired to walk it. It will always be "home."

  • Born and raised in the Mon Valley area. Been gone since 1984, did 21 years in the Air Force, I still scored 100%. Myron Cope came up with the Terrible Towel in about 1970 right? I was only 5 then so I'm not sure. I miss chipped ham, hoagies. You can take a person out of Pittsburgh, but you can't take the Pittsburgh out of a person. Go Stillers! First ones to 3, first ones to 4 and soon to be first ones to 6 rings!

  • I've been gone from the area since 1974 and still miss Pittsburgh. It's such a beautiful city. My son lived and worked in Pittsburgh for about 6 years. He returned home to Los Angeles mainly for the better job market. I just wish the economy would improve in PA. Scored 100%.

  • 100% -Raised in West View and Ross Township near Northway mall. I left the burgh in 1986 - miss it terribly. Went to Heinz field last year for the first time with my Dallas bride. Last time I went to a home game was in 1992 (also with my Dallas bride). My Steeler Nation club's website is called southernsteelfanclub.com. I am very sad about the death of Ernie 'Fats' Holmes. Everytime I come into Pittsburgh I head right to Isaly's in West View. Can't beat the chipped chopped ham and strawberry milkshake. I often go through the shopping area that used to be West View Park. Thanks for the quiz. Yinz ar great!

  • My heart is always in Pgh. even though NC is where I now reside. I went to Allderdice and can proudly say I am an

educated individual. I also say "Open the window up wud

ya." I "red the table" and ask "jaeatjet?". I did not

fit in Chicagoland nor NC although these areas are special to me. But - I am Pittsburgh and so is my husband who went to Swissvale High. We lived in Swisshelm Park near the Parkway East at the Sq. Hill Tunnel. 100% all the way!!!

  • Answered so many right because I have heard so many derogatory remarks about how a small fraction of Pittsburghers(never heard "the burgh" in our circles) talk.

They are really not from Pittsburgh proper - they are from the SouthSide and certain suburbs.

  • My kids never lived in Pittsburgh, but they are died in black and gold--I wonder where they got that from? When I see nighttime football from Pittsburgh, the view of downtown is still breathtaking, like I was on Mt Washington. It's still home.

  • I scored 100% and wasn't surprised..even though I've lived in Philly for 27 years, people still comment on my 'accent.' I agree that Pittsburgh has the best people anywhere - kind, helpful, thoughtful, and not rude. I grew up by the airport and went to Quigley HS but we're all from the burgh.

There is a whole world of Stiller Fans out there and quite a few here in KY. Hopes of returning one day for good. The good thing about Ky is that you can call somone a "JAGOFF" and they have no clue.
