Horsegirl7 you should get a corn snake. They are really chill. I know you said no reptile but most rodents smell retched after 3 days of not cleaning the cage. And science other animals have left bad memories. A corn snake can live up to 10-20 years. So you don't have to worry about a quicky pet. This one will last.

Fish,I used to own fish before and take good care of them I owned a goldfish for seven years actually lol. I do own cats though to do it's kinda hard having a fish again but I would like them in the future again. Cool quiz mate.
