  I saw a trailer for it. Number 4? It's a little too far. Halo Reach was kind of too far too.

  Halo 1, 2, and 3 were the trilogy of Master Chief. Halo 3 ODST is the story of the attack on earth from an ODST's point of view. Halo Wars, incompasses the whole war. Halo: Reach backtracks to the first attack on the spartan home world.
  
  Halo 4 takes place at the same time as Halo 1, 2, and 3, but is another spartan.
