For me that's Luigi's Mansion. I had a choice between it and Sonic Mega Collection and I chose Sonic cuz one of my older brothers said Luigi's Mansion was bad cuz it wasn't Mario

I'm not sure if this would count, but it was a game called Dokapon Kingdom
My siblings and I played it quite a bit, we used to rent it from the library for the ps2 and later on the Wii. We all had a blast with it and spent many hours playing. However, we had to return it after a week. So of course we just renewed it again. Unfortunately, eventually it was gone from the library, and we haven't been able to play it since
Upon searching online, we found out that for some reason (I don't remember the reason), the game is actually of pretty high value, with new copies selling for hundred of dollars.
It was a really fun game and I'd love to be able to play it again -
I've heard of that. Isn't like a board game rpg hybrid? It sounds interesting, I hope you can get to play it again. :)
Is it just the ps2 version that's pricey pr is the wii version pricey too?
Another game I really wanted as a kid is Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest on gamecube. It's this game where you play as a cube animal and eat other cubes to get stronger and bigger. It's always sounded so absurd to me. xD Unfortunately the game is really expensive. -
Yesss that's exactly what it is. The game mode we played was the battle royale, with the goal of killing eachother, but we just ignored eachother and tried to level up xD If I really wanted to I'm sure I could find a sim for it online

I don't know if you have a computer/a decent one, but have you tried looking for it on online simulators such as dolphin?
I'm pretty sure it's both versions, I think it's because not a lot of copies were made -
That's true, it's not too hard to emulate those ps2 and wii games now.
I don't have anything good enough to run Dolphin, sadly. I have a hacked wii, maybe I could burn the disc? Piracy's not quite my thing but it's not like the companies make any money offa these games anymore. I'd just be paying some random collector 200-300 dollars for a gamecube game if I bought it xP But for the sake of legitimacy if I ever buy my own copy of a game like Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance I want a real copy no matter the price.
Probably, that seems to happen a lot. Especially with these really niche games. -
