Mega Man Battle Network 2 Data Library and Style Guide
I will be updating this regularly. It will include methods on getting said chips and descriptions. -

I kinda let this die but I will begin writing the Style Guide now.
There are 6 Styles in the game and there are 5 elements. The 5 Styles are Shield, Guts, Team, Custom, Normal, and Hub. The 5 elements are Null, Heat, Wood, Elec, and Aqua.
Hub Style
Hub Style is the ultimate style. It gives you the bonuses of all the styles but it comes at a price. Your HP is halved.
To obtain HubStyle you must S rank all the v3 Navis in the game (excluding Forte). -
Drop Down: Obtained from getting S Rank on Bag Worm virus.
Pop Up: Dropped by Mole virus -

I'm missing a few battle chips, HubStyle, and the secret chips from multiplayer -
Elements are randomly assigned when you obtain a new style change.
Shield Style: To get a Shield style you need to use a lot of defense battle chips, use a lot of recovery chips, and try to avoid taking a lot of damage. Shield Style gives you access to a handy shield that can be used by pressing back and at the same time. Shield styles begin battle with a Barrier.
Guts Style: Obtained by using the buster shot a whole lot, as opposed to battle chips. Charged shots from elemental busters don't count. Charged shots from the normal buster do. Attack on buster is doubled at the cost of Rapid. Guts styles do not flinch. Hits in battles do not reduce Busting Level.
Team Style: Use a lot of navi chips in battles. Team style lets you put 8 Navi chips in your folder.
Normal Style: Megaman.exe's base form.
No bonuses or weaknesses.
Custom: Obtained primarily from using many offensive battle chips. Gives you acces to 7 battle chips at the start of a turn, instead of the normal 5 chips. -
Rare Battle Chips
Muramasa: Dropped sometimes by Shadow Man V3 at Busting Level S, instead of the Shadow Man V3 Battle Chip. Muramasa's damage is determined by how much damage you have taken. Say you have the full 1000 HP normally obtainable in the game and take 999 damage, leaving you at 1 HP. This would make Muramasa do 999 damage. The legitimate way to get Muramasa to do over 1000 damage is to use attack boosting chips with it. So either 4 attack plus 10s or 4 attack plus 20s when you have 1 hp left.
If cheating Muramasa can do absurb amounts of damage as you can have as much health as you want if you cheat.
Anubis: Dropped sometimes by Pharaoh Man V3 at Busting Level S, instead of his V3 Navi Chip. Anubis sets a statue down that spreads poison through the battle field, damaging your opponent.
Life Aura 1: Dropped by Scuttles in the WWW Area at Busting Level S. Life Aura 1 creates a shield that negates all damage of 100 points or lower. -
Life Aura addendum: Life Aura negates all damage under 100.
Life Aura 2: Dropped by Scuttlests at Busting Level S in WWW Area 2.
Life Aura 3: Dropped by Bass instead of his Navi Chip on rare occasions. Negates all damage under 200.
StoneBody: Like Muramasa and Anubis, this chip is dropped by a V3 Navi Boss instead of their V3 chip on rare occasions. This chip is dropped by Knight Man V3. -

All V3 Bosses (besides Bass) have to be beaten at Busting Lvl S to unlock HubStyle. -

Strat for getting PoisMask easily. Go to the Departure lobby at the airpot and go into the gift shop pc. There will be a rare virus encounter. There will be a PuffBall and a purple Mushy. Use the Jealousy battle chip and it will instantly delete both viruses. This will net you the busting level s you need for PoisMask.
