It was similar to any other girly cartoon. Group of girls with magical powers and their friendship makes them the most powerful of any other.
They had their own website and television show along with various merchandise, and McDonald's had toys of them for their happy meals.

I don't think I've ever heard of that nyaa. .3. It does sound pretty generic.

Okay, I looked it up, and while I don't recall having watched it, the characters do look really familiar nyaa.
