ok. i am assuming u r like a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, or Patriots if u r in this forum. so like. favorite players???? any news??? ummm just anything u wanna say bout them (not negative or swear-ish (lol)) ready, set, POST!!

tongue NewbieI'm sad to say this probably won't be a great year for our Sox. I don't think there's enough hitting. It really annoys me that they didn't resign Bay. The pitching will probably be the strength of the team this year. Lackey was a good pickup, and I think Beckett and Dice-K will have bounce-back years. Well Dice-K anyway cuz Beckett was pretty solid last year. The bullpen is going to be the X-factor- Papelbon has to pitch better than last year, but I think he'll be fine.
Overall, I am guardedly optimistic about our chances. If the pitching is as good as I think and the other hitters can step up in Bay's absence, they can be a wild card team and go to the ALCS. They'll get off to a fast start as usual, but I'll wait until July or August to get really excited. -
tongue NewbieSo obviously I'm a Red Sox fan, but I'm not a fan of the Bruins or Patriots. My team for hockey is the Devils, and for football it's the Eagles. If you're wondering where I live, I live in upstate New York.

yup i get it. whats really funny about connecticut is the fact that we are smack dab in the middle of NY and Boston so half of CT is Red Sox and half is Yanks (boo!!!! . but i always try to stay optimistic and think that Sox are dominant here. XD bruins r like worst in league this year. which sucks cuz my dad yells at the tv when they lose... i should reallt hide a camera, tape it, and send it in to AFL for cash!!! patriots (obviously) arent in the super bowl which makes me think - then why the h am i watching it!! saints and colts r just like bleh-ish!! i am a new englander!!! i live for um well stuff..... oh well.looks like the patriots and bruins failed. (well bruins still have a season so they can still redeem themselves) hopefully the Sox dont let us down this year.

tongue NewbieI'm glad the Jets didn't make the Super Bowl. The Jets and Yankees winning the Super Bowl in the same year would've been a nightmare. I hate New York!

tongue NewbieNo, the state kind of sucks to. The political system here is an absolute mess. Upstate NY is a joke- the only people who live here are the sluts, druggies and losers who couldn't make it anywhere else. It's a dead end pretty much.
