Yeah Kobe, you showed us. You turned it on in playoffs. Got destroyed in the second round to a pretty good, but old veteran team. Anybody else in Jubilation?
-
tongue AdvancedI hardly care, though I'm a bit saurprised. I'm hoping the Celtics can even up the series on Miami. I love the Celtics and despise the Heat.
-
Yeah, I don't care who wins it either. I just wanted the Lakers to exit. There way to overconfident.
-
tongue AdvancedDo you think they might go after Dwight Howard and see if they can keep Phil another year?
-
Do they have enough cap space? What kind of free agent is he? If the Magic can match a signing deal then no. And anyway, Gasol is pretty affective at center. Of course I'm freikin hopping for the Pacers offseason. They got a good young team, with like 23mil to spend this summer
-
tongue AdvancedYea the Lakers may not have the cap space. They'd have to release an awful lot of players. It's not impossible though. Ron Artest is eating up alot of LA's payroll, and they seem pretty intent on dumping him. I don't think money will mean alot. LeBron went to Miami because it was his best chance to win, he had better offers on the table. The Magic got eliminated in the first round. The Lakers have Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. Dwight Howard may just say "screw the money" and decide he has a better shot at a championship in Los Angeles. Bynum's always injured, and you know Kobe wants to match Jordan and get a sixth ring. I think there's a very good chance of Dwight playing for the Lakers next season.
-
tongue AdvancedBTW, don't kid yourself with the Pacers. No star player wants to go anywhere that doesn't have a direct flight to Paris. Maybe the Pacers can pick up a few good players here or there to add to the mix, but don't expect them to get Dwight Howard or Chris Paul.
-
Shoot. Tongue were never on at the same time
-
Yeah I wasn't expecting that. We need a veteran starting PF. I was thinking Zach Rnadloph. Who else is in Free Agency?
-
Aren't there some good players from the Hawks in FA?
-
tongue AdvancedYea the Hawks will probably have to let some guys go. They have alot of talented players that are gonna want to get paid. Randolph I think is gonna stay in Memphis, he's tearing it up in the playoffs right now. I'm not really sure who's available.
The Bulls have alot of cap room too I think. Considered they had the best record in the league this year, they'll probably want to add a few more pieces to try and get over the top. -
tongue AdvancedChris Paul is definitely going to the Knicks. His contract is up, he wants to play with Melo and Amare, and he's not gonna get a ring with the Hornets.
-
Billups was resigned by the Knicks though, I kinda like the idea, of banding trio superstar talent together. But In the west. I want the Pacers to make it to the playoffs again. Is Josh smith a FA
-
tongue AdvancedIf he is, I can see the Hawks paying out the ass to keep him. Al Horford might be a free agent. I'm pretty sure Mike Bibby is, but I don't see him being a hot commodity.
-
tongue AdvancedActually Mike Bibby is with the Heat now.
