"Yes I am." Lavender chuckled, curling up closer to her.

‘You’re too pretty to be a peasant.

Lavender blushed, laughing and leaning into her. "Sorry to break it to you, but I am."

‘Shhhh, no you’re not.’

"But I am!" Lavender giggled.

‘Dammit Lavender why do you have to be such a lowly peasant-‘

"Hey!" Lavender laughed. "It's not my fault!"

Maeve giggled. ‘I’m joking!’

"No you weren't." Lavender huffed, though she wasn't too upset.

‘Yeah!’

Lavender glared before chuckling. She wanted to ask if Maeve would like her more if she was a duchess instead, but didn't since she figured it's just make her sound insecure. She wasn't super insecure about it, not yet at least.

Maeve snuggled close, wrapping her arms loosely around her torso.

Lavender blushed, letting her with a grin.

Maeve nuzzled her nose against Lavender’s, giggling.
