George flushed red, laughing softly. “Aw, stop- but seriously, are you planning on getting another job, or something else?”

“I wanted to, but my mom said I’m gonna be working with her and my dad,” Clay said, sighing softly.

“Oh, okay, gotcha,” George nodded, taking a bite of his food.

“I am not looking forward to working with her,” Clay said with a groan, rubbing the side of his face with his hand as he tooka bite of his food.

“Weren’t you already, though?” George said, titling his head.

“Well, yeah, but it’s gonna be more unbearable,” Chris said, chuckling softly. He exhaled softly, taking a bite of his ravioli again.

“That’s fair,” George said with a nod. “If you ever need a de-stressed, I’m free outside of mealtimes~” -

“Thank goodness,” Clay said, smiling at George. -

George giggled, reaching his hand over to Clay. “That does suck, though-“ -
“Yeah- Working with my dad’s pretty fun, learning how he runs everything in the kingdom and stuff,” Clay replied, smiling a little.

“Oh, yeah, that’s cool,” George said with a smile. “I dunno how you’re excited to become king- I think I’d die.”

“I don’t know either, but really like the idea of it,” Clay said, chuckling softly.

George smiled, admiring Clay for a moment. “I’m really glad you like it~”

Clay smiled brightly, taking another bite of his food. “And, y’know, when I become king, I’m sure I’ll need someone by my side to help me- Or to help me ‘relieve some stress~” He teased with a smirk, chuckling softly.

George giggled quietly before pausing. “Can- can we do that? Would- holy s---, wait- would I be king then too, or like, honorary queen…? Or would I just be your parter? I’d just be like, your little sidekick, right?”
