Mason climbed out of the car and grabbed his hand.

Chris smiled and gently squeezed Mason’s hand, kissing the back of his hand for a moment before heading towards the mall.

Mason blushed, following him flusteredly.

Chris smiled to himself, rubbing the back of Mason’s hand with his thumb as they walked. “What’re you thinking of getting?”

‘Not sure,’ Mason said. ‘Depends if you’re paying or not,’ he added teasingly.

“Don’t worry, I’m paying~” Chris said with a chuckle, gently squeezing Mason’s hand. “Just, like, don’t go and buy the most expensive s---- I’m not rich or anything.”

‘Awwwww~’ Mason said in a playful voice. ‘That’s not fairrrr~’

“I’d love to spoil you to death, seriously, but like- I have rent and I need to be able to buy food for myself-“ Chris mumbled, exhaling softly.

‘Fair enough,’ Mason said, sticking his hands in his pockets.

“I’ll still buy you stuff, of course~” Chris said, chuckling softly.

Mason chuckled. ‘Obviously~’ he teased, nudging him. ‘I mean, you don’t have to, obviously, I can pay..’

“No! I wanna spoil you~” Chris said, smiling at Mason. “I just- wish I could buy you more, I guess.”

Mason chuckled, leaning his head on his shoulder. ‘It’s fine.’

Chris nodded a little, still feeling bad. “So, same store as last time, right?” He asked, looking over at Mason and gently squeezing his hand.

‘Yup,’ Mason said.
