  C1 is a computer, but it's not just any computer. It's the MOTHER_BOARD. Designed to take care of wards of the state, the motherboard looks after children even through the most dire of circumstances. C2 is it's oldest ward at 16 they were taken from their parents by CPS and placed with this motherboard unit when they were only 6 years old. C3 is an energetic 12 year old who lost their parents in a car crash 3 years ago and C4 is an 8 year old with a limp who was abandoned before they could remember.
