Lawrence held him close.

“Mm, what should we do today?” Briar asked softly, looking over at Lawrence.

'Not sure. What do you want to do today?'

“Mm, I don’t know,” Briar said, shrugging. “We could go for a walk, do some more shopping- Ooh, I’d love to go furniture shopping soon~”

'Yes, we should definitely go furniture shopping,' Lawrence said, snuggling closer. 'We need a more comfortable sofa.

“Definitely,” Briar said, giggling softly. “Somethin’ comfy to nap on~”

'We have a bed you can nap on,' Lawrence chuckled.

“But couch cuddles are nice, too~” Briar said with a giggle, curling closer to Lawrence.

Lawrence chuckled. 'I guess.'

Briar giggled softly as he moved on Lawrence’s lap, turning to face him. “What else do you want to do? We could go into town and do some clothes shopping~”

Lawrence held him close. ‘Yeah, we can do that,’ he said, kissing his jaw.

Briar smiled as he straddled Lawrence’s waist, hugging him close. He pressed a kiss on his nose, humming softly with content.

Lawrence smiled, leaning into his touch. His arms moved to his waist.

Briar pressed a kiss on Lawrence’s lips, running a hand through his hair. “I kind of want to visit my mother’s tree today,” he murmured softly, resting his forehead against his boyfriend’s.

Lawrence gently rubbed his back, smiling gently. ‘Sounds good to me,’ he said, moving one of his hands up and playing with his hair. ‘I-I wish I could’ve met her.’ Again, that pang of guilt he figured wouldn’t leave anytime soon.
