George smiled a little, resting his head on Clay’s shoulder for a moment for picking his head up again. “Okay- I’m taking my sweatshirt off, it’s too hot-“

Clay chuckled, moving his arm off of George’s shoulder. “I can hold your sweatshirt for you if you want,” he said, smiling at his boyfriend.

“Nah, I can just wrap it around my waist,” George said, pulling his sweatshirt over his head and using the sleeves tied it around his waist.

Clay nodded and wrapped his arm around George’s shoulder again, humming softly. He watched him, admiring his work as he stared at the marks on his neck. “Damn, I sure went to town on your neck, didn’t I~?”

“Yeah, you f---in’ moron,” George whined, chuckling quietly and leaning against Clay for a second.

Clay chuckled and hugged George close, kissing the side of his head. “I love you~“

George raised his eyebrows, chuckling quietly. “Wow- love-bomb much?” He said, only half joking.

Clay panicked, pulling his arm away. “s---, I- I wasn’t trying to-“

“It just slipped out?” George said with a chuckle, shrugging a little.

“Kind of,” Clay said with an awkward chuckle, running a hand through his hair. “I- I mean, it’s not like I- I don’t love you, I just-“ He groaned, covering his face with his hands.

George shrugged. “I get it- Don’t know how I feel about it, but I get it.”

“And that’s totally fine, I get it- Sorry, I- I probably made things awkward,” Clay said with an awkward chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest.

George shrugged, glancing at the sidewalk in front of them. “Yeah, a little bit. It’s alright, honestly.”

“You sure?” Clay asked softly, exhaling softly. “Because I- I really didn’t mean to lovebomb you, I promise-“

“Yeah, I know you didn’t,” George said, shrugging a little. “But- if I’ve learned one thing about you so you feel- like, a lot. A lot more than like, everyone- so I understand.”
