“I might try the mint ice cream instead,” Clay replied, leaning into George’s side.

“Hell yeah! Okay, I’m gonna go get them for us-“ George chuckled quietly, pressing a kiss onto Clay’s cheek before heading to the cashier.

Clay smiled and walked over to a table, saving them a seat for the two of them.

George came back after a moment, setting the milkshakes on the table and sitting down across from Clay. “That lady just said she gave me a gay discount- I think she saw me kiss you? I dunno, I got like, two dollars off, so I’m not complaining.”

Clay laughed softly, taking his milkshake. “Damn, lucky you~” He said with a chuckle, taking a sip. “Mm, f---, this one’s good too~”

“Isn’t it?” George said with a chuckle, taking a sip of his own.

Clay chuckled and nodded, taking another sip. He hummed softly, zoning out for a few moments and getting lost in thought.

“You good?” George asked, giggling quietly.

“Hm?” Clay looked over, a confused look on his face for a moment before he remembered he had zoned out. “Ah, sorry, just- zoned out there for a second,” he said, chuckling softly.

“All good,” George giggled quietly, admiring Clay for a moment as he sipped on his milkshake. “I still can’t believe we’re dating. And that you bought a flight to come here.”

“I know- I’m surprised I actually went through with it, I’m not the biggest fan of flying,” Clay said, chuckling softly. “But like, I’d do quite literally do anything for you, so~”

“Aw, stop~” George giggled. “What did I do to deserve you?”

“Look too damn sexy for your own good~?” Clay joked, smirking playfully at George as he took another sip of his milkshake.

“You’re damn right I am,” George said, giggling quietly.

Clay chuckled softly, offering a hand to George. “But, seriously- you didn’t have to do anything other than be there for me. And I’m extremely grateful for you, hun~”
