“I mean, I haven’t done much other than sleep,” Clay said, chuckling softly. “I did enjoy our late-night ice cream date, though~” He spoke, smiling as he gently squeezed George’s hand.

“Oo, that was nice,” George agreed, smiling.

Clay smiled, kissing George’s jaw and leaning into his side.

George smiled. “Georgie-poo!” a voice called after a few moments and George smiled, waving a little. “Hey Eddie,” he said as they approached. A brunette a little taller than Clay, Ed, was standing next to his girlfriend Katy, also brunette and a little taller than George. “I didn’t know you played football, George~” Ed teased, crossing his arms. “It’s Clay’s, dumb----“ George said with a chuckle. Both Ed and Katy looked over at Clay, Katy waving and Ed extending his hand. “So, you’re the famous Clay- I’ve heard literally so f---ing much about you- I mean, all good things~!” He teased, laughing. “But I always get the short straw of hanging out with George, so I have to listen to the complaining-“ he stage whispered to Clay.

Clay chuckled, smiling warmly at the two. “Yeah, I’m the boyfriend- Nice to meet you two,” he said, waving at the two.

“Nice to meet you,” Katy said with a smile. “George never mentioned you play football.” “I think I did-“ “I don’t think I’ve ever watched football-“ Ed cut George off, crossing his arms. “So, uh, tell me, what position do you play?” He said, jokingly lowering his voice into a fake ‘dad voice’ as he would say.

“I play quarterback,” Clay replied, chuckling softly as he leaned against George’s side and wrapped his arm around his waist.

“Same one in bed with George?” Ed asked, chuckling. “If you couldn’t tell, Ed was class clown growing up-“ George said, deadpanning. “Woah, hey! That’s harsh-“ Ed said with a giggle.

Kathy giggled, playfully hitting Ed’s chest. “Quit teasing them, then, and he’ll be nicer~” She teased, rubbing his back with her other hand. “So, how long have you two been together?” She asked, looking over to George and Clay. “A bit over a year, I’d say,” Clay replied, smiling at Kathy. -
“Yeah, a year last September,” George said with a smile. “I stayed with him during my exchange year-“ “We know, George, you’ve told us like, a thousand times-“ Ed said with a giggle, wrapping an arm around Katy. “Okay, okay, well- let’s just go get something to eat, okay?” George said with a chuckle. “Okay, but I was lowkey thinking we go to Sam’s and play lazar tag instead-“ Ed suggested.

“Ooh, we should do that- Great idea, hun,” Kathy said, smiling at Ed. “Laser tag sounds fun,” Clay said with a small smile, nodding.

“I always come up with great ideas, babe, and you know it~” Ed teased. “You’re still feeling okay?” George whispered to Clay.

“Mm, that’s debatable~” Kathy teased, poking Ed’s cheek with her finger. Clay nodded, looking over at George. “I’s alright, don’t worry about me,” he replied with a nod, smiling at his boyfriend.

"Alright, lets get going- If you had that idea, why did you choose to meet here? It's on the other side of town-" "Shut up! I had the idea when I saw that Clay was kinda tall and could be an easy target-"
