“Nah, go,” Nick said, pushing George to get off of his seat. “Jeez- fine, I’m going, I’m going,” George said softly as he sat up, heading to the bathroom and closing the door quietly behind him. “Clay? Where are you?”

Clay lifted his head and turned, opening the stall door. He looked over, seeing George standing there. “I’m so sorry, George-“ He spoke shakily, walking over to his boyfriend.

“It’s okay, I understand,” George said, stepping over and opening his arms to hug Clay.

Clay hugged onto George, burying his face in his shoulder. “I don’t know why I’m so nervous,” he murmured, exhaling shakily.

“I don’t know either,” George said softly, rubbing Clay’s back. “But it’s okay. I get it. Kinda.”

“I just don’t want anything to happen to you,” Clay muttered, lifting his head. “I- I love you so much, and- the thought of, what happened to me happening to you, it- it terrifies me-“

“I know, I know,” George said softly, moving a hand to Clay’s cheek. “But you speaking out and proving her wrong has shown what can happen to people if they do that, okay? And I have so many people watching out for me, okay?”

Clay nodded, hugging George closer. “I know,” he spoke quietly, exhaling softly. “And- I’m sorry for what I said earlier, I- I really didn’t mean to say that and make- make you seem like a bad guy or- or anything…”

“It’s okay, I forgive you,” George said softly, rubbing Clay’s cheek with his thumb.

Clay leaned into George’s touch, sighing softly. He pressed a kiss on his boyfriend’s forehead, holding him close. “I do want you to have fun and stuff, okay? I’m happy you’re going, even if it makes me a little nervous,” he spoke with an awkward chuckle, rubbing George’s sides with his thumbs.

George smiled a little, meeting eyes with Clay. “You don’t mind if I go?”

“I really don’t, I’m just- freaking myself out,” Clay said with a sigh, holding George close. “I want you to have fun with the guys, even if I’m not there~” He added, smiling at his boyfriend. “I trust you, and I trust them, so you should go, okay? Don’t stay back just because of me.”

“Are you sure? Because I don’t want you to be anxious the entire time I’m gone,” George said softly.

“I think I can deal with it for the night if it means you’re having fun, okay?” Clay said with a chuckle, pressing a kiss on George’s lips. “Yeah, I’ll be worried, but that’s kind of the norm for me as of late-“ He smiled, holding his boyfriend close. “Please, I want you to enjoy your time here in the US, okay?”

“Okay,” George said with a soft smile. “And you don’t mind if I come home drunk or anything? And didn’t Nick say he’d hang out with you?”
