Clay groaned softly, burying his face in George’s shoulder. “Yeah, you’re right,” he said with a quiet chuckle, nodding slightly. He hugged the brunette closer, humming softly.

George chuckles quietly, holding Clay close and rubbing his back. “Dang, that’s good. I would’ve begged for it-“

Clay chuckled, curling closer to George. “I figured it wouldn’t do me much good to complain, honestly,” he said, pressing a lazy kiss on the brunette’s neck.

“Fair,” George said hesitantly, resting his head against the pillow.

Clay hummed softly, curling closer to George and pressing more lazy kisses on his neck. He trailed them up to his jaw, smiling with content. He paused, resting his head against the pillow. “I still feel bad, for what I said yesterday-“

“Don’t sweat it, I’m serious,” George said softly, locking eyes with Clay. “It happened, and we’ve moved on-“

“I know, I’m just- still overthinking it,” Clay muttered as he met George’s eyes, exhaling softly. He leaned forward and rested his forehead against his boyfriend’s, hugging him close.

George hummed a little in understanding, leaning forward and pressing his lips against Clays for a quick moment. “Well, why do you feel so bad?”

Clay kissed George back, a small smile on his face. “I don’t know, I guess- I just, don’t want you to think I actually meant it?” He said, shrugging a little.

“Okay, well I don’t think you actually meant it,” George said softly. “At all. Well, I did yesterday, but not anymore.”

“Well, that’s good,” Clay said, sighing softly. He hugged George close, kissing his lips again.

“What else were you thinking about what you said?” George asked softly after he pulled away from the kiss.

“That I f---ing screwed up,” Clay said, chuckling awkwardly. “That, maybe- Maybe I’ve just pushed you away, and I’ve just completely ruined our relationship again-“

“Mm, okay,” George said softly. “Well- take at look at us right now. I’m still here, quite close, actually. And seeing that I woke up with you this morning means that I probably was pretty clingy last night, right?”
