(lol you good, take your time :))
“Mm, that sounds nice,” Clay said with a chuckle, lifting his head and nodding. “I kinda wanna swim some, too~“ -
(lmaooo sorry)
“Let’s head over then,” George said with a smile, sitting up and standing. -
(all good, dw!)
Clay nodded and stood, pulling the blankets off him. “Are you gonna swim at all?” He asked, walking over to the stairs. -
“Yeah, why not,” George said with a shrug, standing and heading to his room. “I’ll meet you at the door in ten?”
-
“‘Kay, see you in a bit,” Clay said with a smile, heading up to his room. He exhaled softly as he tried to push back any more anxious thoughts, not wanting to ruin his time with George.
-
(~ts~)
“Alright, we ready to go?” George asked as he approached Clay by the front door. -
“Mhm,” Clay hummed in response, nodding with a small smile. He slid on a pair of slides and opened the door, holding it open for George before walking out and shutting it behind him. “Wait- s---, lemme go tell Sam we’re going out, I’ll be right back,” he said, quickly heading back inside. He came back out a few minutes later, locking the door behind him. “Alright, we’re good,” he said, chuckling as he unlocked his car and walked over.
-
“Awww, look at you, such a good brother,” George said with a chuckle, heading to the car.
-
“Make sure to tell my mom, maybe then she’ll get off my case on bullying her,” Clay teased, getting in the drivers side and buckling up. “To be fair, she always starts it-“
-
George laughed, climbing into the passenger seat. “Fair, fair. Just quickly- are you sure you’re good to drive?”
-
“Yeah, I’m all good,” Clay replied, nodding. “And if I’m feeling anxious or anything, I’ll pull over, I promise,” he added, smiling at his boyfriend for a moment before starting the car.
-
“Awesome, just making sure,” George said with a smile, offering Clay his hand.
-
Clay smiled and pulled out of the driveway, starting towards the beach as he took George’s hand. He furrowed his brows, thinking for a moment. “How do you think I should talk to my mom about getting a therapist? Like, just ask her or something?” He asked, glancing at George for a second before looking back at the road.
-
“I dunno- yeah, I guess just ask, right?” George said with a shrug. “Like- just be like: ‘Yo, mum, I’m dealing with all this stuff I’ve told you about and I think I need to like… talk to a therapist about it’.”
-
Clay chuckled, nodding. “Yeah, I guess that’s the easiest way,” he said, tapping his thumb against the steering wheel. He hummed softly, rubbing the back of George’s hand with his thumb.
