Clay chuckled quietly, nodding. He zoned out for a moment, getting lost in thought. “George?” He asked softly, resting his head on his boyfriend’s chest again.

“Clay?” George responded, going silent as he waited for him to speak.

“Do you think I should ask my mom about, like, letting me get a therapist?” Clay asked quietly, curling closer to George. “I- I’ve thought about this before, I just- I don’t know, I guess I’ve never felt like, I deserved one? I mean, it’s not like I’m depressed and suicidal or anything-“

“Yeah- oh yeah, you definitely should,” George said almost immediately. “I think that’d be good for you.”

Clay chuckled softly, nodding. “Yeah, I- I definitely think it’d be good to- to have someone to talk to about this stuff.”

“Yeah,” George said with a small smile. “And you can always talk to me- but like, someone professional, y’know?”

Clay nodded, curling closer to George. He sighed softly, a small smile on his face. “What did I ever do to deserve you?” He murmured softly, rubbing his boyfriend’s side with his thumb.

George chuckled quietly. “Oh stop it, don’t say that.” He said softly, rubbing a hand through Clay’s hair.

“I’m being serious,” Clay said with a chuckle, lifting his head a little and kissing George’s cheek, “what did I ever do to deserve such an amazing boyfriend~?”

“I dunno- I feel like, no one really deserves anything, y’know? We kinda just, end up with the stuff we get, either through work or some intercession or something-“ George rambled a little, zoning out as he spoke.

“Damn, that’s some deep stuff, Georgie~” Clay teased, kissing George’s jaw. “I can see that, though,” he added, humming softly as he held George close.

“Oh shut up,” George said with a chuckle, rolling his eyes. “But yeah. That’s my hot take, thanks for coming to my ted talk-“

Clay chuckled, pressing another kiss on George’s jaw. He moved down a little, pressing more kisses on his boyfriend’s neck.

“Damn, you’re more in love with my neck than with me, huh?” George said with a chuckle.

“Mm, maybe a little~” Clay said with a chuckle, trailing his kisses back up to George’s jaw, then to his cheek before kissing his lips.
