Eloise stood at the hostess stand, waiting for the next customer to come in. They looked up when the door opened to see a girl walk in, their face instantly heating up. Wow, she's- she's pretty cute, they thought, a small smile appearing on their face. "Table for one?" They asked, grabbing a menu for the girl.
(lol same) -
Cecilia stared at the woman who stood before her, adjusting her glasses unsure if she was real or in her imagination. "Uh, yes please." She replied after a couple of seconds. She took a deep breath, to relax herself before speaking once more. "Uh, unless join me you would." She mixed up her words, speaking in the wrong order, causing her to blush. Deep inside, wishing she could bury herself there and then.

Eloise flushed bright red and covered their mouth, smothering their giggles. "Maybe another day, when I'm not on the job?" They asked, smiling at the girl. They turned and gestured for her to follow them, walking over to a free table.

Cecilia gave a nervous smile, tilting her head slightly to the ground. "S-sure." She stuttered out, quietly. She followed behind the woman to the table that they let her towards, and took a seat.

Eloise watched the girl with a smile, setting down a set of utensils. "What would you like to drink, ma'am?" They asked, folding their hands in front of them.

"Just a tea." Cecilia replied, looking up to her. "Yeah, a tea."
(I dislike typing while in a car so, this is short-) -

Eloise nodded with a smile. "You got it," they replied, turning to get her drink for her. -
Aye aye)
Cecilia nodded and began to look through the menu, thinking about what she should get. Her mind wandering back to the waitress as she did so now and then. -
Eloise hummed as they walked back out to the girl's table, setting down the cup of tea. "One cup of tea for..." Their voice trailed off, hoping to get a name from their very, very pretty customer.

Cecilia looked up as she returned, smiling to the lady. "Cecilia."she replied back, "but most people just call me Cecil." She gave a small nod, taking the tea and taking a small sip from the liquid.

"Well, Cecil, pleasure to meet you," Eloise said with a smile, "I'll be back in a bit to take your order, unless you're ready now?" They pulled out their notepad, preparing to write down the order.

"Is there anything that you would recommend, miss...?" Cecilia asked, smiling up to her, hoping to get a name as well to put to the face.

"I would recommend something off the breakfast menu, but it may be a bit late for that, innit?" Eloise replied, chuckling. "If you're looking for something filling, I'd go for the double stack burger and a side of fries. May not sound "gourmet" or anything, but it's good, trust me." They turned and paused, looking back at the girl. "And my name's Elodie. Pleased to meet you, Cecilia."

"I'll have that then, please." Cecilia replied, looking up to her with a smile. "Thank you, miss Elodie. Can say the same to you."

Eloise smiled and nodded, turning and walking over to the kitchen. They gave the order to the cook, sighing. "What's that face for?" One of her co-workers asked, smirking at them. "Can't a person smile every once in a while?" They asked, chuckling. Their co-worker sighed, shaking her head at Eloise. "Just, don't get too attached, okay? Remember-" "Yes, I remember him," they retorted, shooting a glare at the girl. "But, who knows? Maybe I have a chance this time~"
