Havyn stiffened slightly. "I...I haven't exactly told them about you." She mumbled.

“Oh- Why- why not?” He asked quietly, gently grabbing her hand and squeezing it.

"They'd be all weird about it. They already act weird when I'm alone with a boy." She shrugged. "It's nothing against you though, I promise."

Elliot exhaled a breath of relief, nodding. “Well, I certainly understand the weird, overbearing parent behavior,” he replied with a chuckle, heading to his car. “We don’t have to tell them yet, if you don’t want to, okay?”

Havyn nodded gratefully, following him. "Yeah, ok."

Elliot gently squeezed her hand, pressing a kiss on her cheek before opening her door, shutting it once she got in the car,. He walked over to his side and climbed in, starting the car and driving off. He offered his hand to Havyn after pulling up the GPS, heading to the restaurant.

Havyn grabbed his hand, smiling.

Elliot smiled and gently rubbed her hand with his thumb, humming as he drove.

Havyn listened to him as he hummed.

“Just a heads up, uh- I mean, you already know how bad I am at conversation, but like- First date situation will be very, very awkward,” he said, chuckling awkwardly.

"Fair enough, fair enough." Havyn laughed.

“Like, I- I’m sorry in advance if I say something stupid,” he said with a laugh.

"It's fine, I'll say stupid stuff too." Havyn chuckled. They got to the restaurant.

Elliot chuckled, nodding as he pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant. He parked the car and got out, moving around to open the door for Havyn.
