Elliot hummed softly, holding Havyn close.

Havyn leaned into his touch.

Elliot continued humming, rubbing Havyn's side.

Havyn grinned, resting her head on his shoulder.

Elliot smiled, bringing a hand up and running it through his hair. He zoned out for a few moments, exhaling softly. "You don't think it's your fault I didn't get in, still, do you? Because it- it really wasn't- If anything, it's my own fault-"

Havyn hesitated before shaking her head.

"You sure? Because if- if anyone's the one who f---ed up, it was me," Elliot spoke, exhaling softly. "I mean, I- I ruined your audition after you ruined mine, and I- I could've taken the high road, but I didn't-"

"Hey." Havyn looked him in the eye. "I'm not blaming you, so you don't blame yourself either."

"B-But, I- I f---ed it up," Elliot whispered softly, his voice wavering.

"Did not." Havyn pat his head gently. "Don't talk to my boyfriend that way."

Elliot rolled his eyes, a small smile on his face. "I mean, what other reason could there be for why I wouldn't have gotten in," he murmured softly, exhaling quietly.

"That they're stupid."

"Well, they're certainly not stupid for choosing you," Elliot said, chuckling softly as he held Havyn close.

"But they are for not choosing you." Havyn chuckled.
