'J-' Jupiter quickly caught herself. 'Claudia. Claudia Jackson,' she said with a smile, shaking Akira's hand. 'I can't speak from much experience, but this has been pretty boring the 20 minutes since I arrived.'

"Well, nice to meet you, Claudia." She smiled. "Enjoy your time here, it gets more boring by the minute." She added with a small wink. She wasn't meaning it in a flirtatious way, just in a friendly one.

Jupiter chuckled. 'I can imagine. It's nice to meet you too, Akira, but it's a shame it had to be at a boring dinner party.'

"Yea." She sighed. A waiter came by and offered some little sandwiches, but she politely declined. "So, how'd you end up here? Marry into one of the families? Random invite from a stranger? Friends with someone here?" She asked, wanted to get to know 'Claudia' better.

Jupiter tried to remember what her boss had told her about her family she was supposed to be apart of. She decided to just make something up. 'I'm seventh in line to the throne of Vitland. Youngest of seven kids. It sucks,' she responded, leaning back in her chair with a chuckle. 'But good because I don't get invited to these things very often.,'

"Ohhh. Yea, you've got the lucky end." Akira said. "As i said, there's no point in these parties." Shw sighed. She lit up with an idea. "Wanna get out of here?" She asked with a glint in here eyes. "We can go out to the gardens. No one's out there, so it'll be quieter."

Jupiter grinned. 'Oh, could we? It'd be so much better than sitting around in here watching old people talk about the local football,' she said. 'Let's do it.'

"Agreed. Come on, i know i shortcut that will lead us past the least amount of people," She led Claudia to the left of the crowd, and down a hallway, which eventually led them to the gardens. "Mmm, fresh air. Smells way better out here than in there, where all i can smell is stuffy old mothballs and perfume." She wrinkled her nose distastefully. -
Jupiter chuckled. ''Definitely. The perfume of rich people smells rancid,' she agreed. She didn't understand why she had to kill this heiress - she seemed nice enough. Jupiter almost felt bad about it, but if she screwed up again... well, she didn't want to have to think about it.

"Like, what do they even put in it? It's like a mix of floral scent and the stench of the dead," she says with a grin. "It's never one flavor, always a billion wrapped up into one small bottle that old women treat like came from the last freaking flower on earth with one little drop, and it's still overpowering." Akira rolled her eyes, completely joking. An old couple walking amongst the hedges glared at her.

Jupiter snickered. 'Couldn't have described it better myself,' she said with a laugh. She waved to the old couple.

The old couple sniffed snootily and hobbled on their way. Akira waited until they were well out of range, then slowly turned towards Claudia, trying to stiffle a laugh. They looked like littls penguins with that hobble walk," she said quietly, still trying not to laugh
