"Hm..." Ernest tried to think of what to do. "We could go outside and hang out if that doesn't sound boring. Maybe there's more interesting stuff to do there?"

Mahina shrugged. ‘Sure.’

Ernie stood up, offering her his hand to help her up.

Mahina blushed a little but grabbed his hand.

Ernest pulled her up, but didn't let go of her hand. He blushed.

Mahina didn’t pull her hand away from him either. She smiled shyly.

Ernie grinned, leading the 2 of them outside.

Mahina followed him.

"Do you know the best part of the forest?" Ernest asked once they got outside.

Mahina thought about that for a moment. ‘Yeah. Follow me,’ she said, walking to the left, straying off the dirt path.

Ernie followed, stumbling on a couple big rocks and sticks occasionally.

Mahina chuckled a little when she noticed.

"Hey, don't laugh!" Ernest said, though he was a hypocrite.
