Mahina laughed and sat down at the table. Two pieces of toast floated to the toaster.

Ernie grinned. "Cool."

Mahina rolled her eyes, smirking as the jam floated out of the cupboard.

Ernest watched in amazement.

'You're so weird.'

Ernie nodded with a laugh.

Mahina chuckled, the toast continuing to make itself.

Ernest rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, let me be awed in peace now."

Mahina chuckled. 'Fine, fine.'

Ernie grinned, watching the toast intently.

'You're so f---ing weird,' Mahina repeated with a laugh, shaking her head.

Ernie rolled his eyes. "I know."

'Good. If you didn't I'd be concerned.'

"I would be too, honestly."
