Ernest stuck his tongue out. He heard a knock at the door and Selene's footsteps before hearing the door open loudly.

Mahina looked up.

Ernie looked at the door out of the room, a confused look on his face. "Who do you think that'd be?" He asked quietly.

Mahina shrugged. ‘I don’t know,’ she said. ‘Probably Selene.’

Ernest shrugged. Selene shut the door before walking into the room and setting a rose down on her nightstand. She looked up at the two of them, noticing their facial expressions. "It was just Orion, you can relax."

Mahina smiled, leaning against Ernest. ‘Orion? Did he give you a rose~?’

Selene sighed. "Yes."

Mahina grinned. ‘Did he ask you on a date?’

"Stop being so nosy." Selene said quickly. Ernest chuckled.

Mahina giggled, sitting up straight. ‘Did you say yes?’

"Why do you care?" Selene asked, sounding mildly defensive.

‘Because I like hearing about your love life,’ Mahina said, crossing her legs. ‘And if you do start dating and you get married and live happily ever after I’ll have an aunt! And a little cousin!’

Selene rolled her eyes. "Hard pass. Raising one little gremlin was too much."
(I'm gonna go, hopefully just for 30 ish minutes but no promises) -

‘Hey! I’m not a gremlin!’ Mahina complained. ‘Please just tell me?’ -
"Agree to disagree." Selene muttered. "Fine, I agreed, happy?"
