Mahina grinned and pointed her staff at him. He grew several feet.
‘Oops. Wrong spell,’ Mahina said. -
"Clearly!" Ernie laughed. "What were you TRYING to do?"

‘Shrink you.’

"But then you'll be taller!"

‘That’s the point,’ Mahina chuckled, pointing her staff at him again.

Ernest rolled his eyes. "Weirdo. Fine, do it."

Mahina shrunk him until he was about 2 feet tall.

"You're the worst!" Ernie complained. He sat down out of frustration, making him appear even shorter.

Mahina chuckled. ‘You’re so small! Like a gnome!’

"Shut up!"

‘No, it’s cute!’ Mahina said, sitting next to him.

"No it isn't! There's nothing cute about being as short as a shelf!"
