“Nope.” Ernie kept eating.

Mahina huffed, starting to eat too.

“Thank you.” Ernest said to Selene.

Selene smiled. ‘You should be more like the human, Nina. He has manners.’

Ernie felt a twinge of annoyance at being called ‘the human’ again, but shoved the feeling down to the bottom of his mind. “Yeah, Mahina!”

Mahina rolled his eyes.

Ernest chuckled, eating more.

Mahina huffed and continued trying to eat.

Ernie gave a small smile as he watched her reactions again.

Mahina pinched his arm.
