Ernest sat there for a bit, not saying anything. He eventually looked out the window. It was getting pretty late in the afternoon.

Mahina fell into a light sleep, head lolled on his chest.

Ernie noticed after a bit, chuckling. He didn't move or try and wake her up though.

Mahina snored lightly.

Ernest looked around for a spare blanket in arms reach. He found a small black one and put it on Mahina.

Mahina stirred slightly, mumbled something about toads and went back to sleep.

Ernie smiled, looked down, and realized he was still holding her hands. He blushed, but didn't let go.

Mahina continued to sleep.

Ernest sat there for a bit before growing tired himself. He laid her down on the bed and laid down next to her, but let her keep the blanket instead of doing the whole tug-of-war thing over it throughout the whole night. He closed his eyes.

Mahina fell into a deeper sleep. -

Ernie fell asleep too, snoring slightly louder than Mahina. -
Mahina woke up about an hour later.

Ernest stirred slightly when she woke up.

Mahina blushed. She was snuggled up close to him, his hands in hers.

Ernie was still sleeping. He had a dream about being turned into a frog again, which he did NOT enjoy.
