Chester smiled, holding him close.

Jayden snuggled up to him. “Are you prepared to deal with my family?” He mumbled.

Chester nodded. ‘Of course.’

“Alright.” Jayden smiled. “No fighting with them.”

‘Fine, I won’t start fights. But if they do, I’m probably going to fight back,’ Chester said with an apologetic smile.

“No!” Jayden chuckled. “No fighting. We’re not going to give them a reason to disapprove of you, beautiful.”

‘They already do, darling,’ Chester said, ruffling his hair.

“I don’t care.” Jayden mumbled. “You’re not giving them more reasons to, ok?”

Chester nodded. ‘Alright. But if they something bad to you..’

“Nope. No buts.” Jayden looked Chester in the eye. “No fighting with them.”

Chester fidgeted with Jayden’s hair. ‘Alright..’

Jayd leaned into Chester, giving a small smile.

Chester smiled weakly, pulling him close. ‘How long’s the trip?’

Jayden shrugged. “A couple hours. We won’t be there until later tonight.”
