Jayd held onto his hand tightly, still staring at the ground.
Margaret rolled her eyes. "You'll see." -
Chester glared at his grandmother. ‘Get out.’

Margaret looked taken aback. "You can't kick me out. We're family, Chester. Or has that one blinded your senses?"
Jayden didn't have to look up to know who she was talking about. -
‘I can, actually. My castle, my rules. Get out,’ Chester snapped.

"What would your parents think? Making your family leave the day before their anniversary!" Her tone was a very upset 'you've already disappointed them so much...' sort of tone.
Jayden looked up eventually. "You heard him. Get out." -
‘My parents would be mad at you for being an a--hole,’ Chester snapped, trying not to dwell on her words too much. He knew he hadn’t disappointed his parents, even if he hadn’t spoken to his father for a while…

Margaret looked stunned to silence, and enraged. She looked like she was going to say more before Jayden stepped in.
"Leave. Now. Before I call in guards." -
Chester looked down, holding onto Jayden’s hand tightly.

Margaret snorted. "You really think the guards will believe you over me? They know me, Celeste. It's your word against mine."
"My name isn't Celeste." He responded, glaring. -

‘They’ll believe the king over his grandmother. Get out.’ -

If looks could kill, Chester would have been as dead as his parents. She turn on her heel and left without another word.
Henry looked like he wanted to make a comment, but also didn't want to get kicked out as well. -

Chester looked down, tugging at the chain of his watch.
(AS DEAD AS HIS PARENTS YOU SAVAGE) -
(Shhhhh it's only been like 3 months)
Jayden leaned into him, sighing.

Chester wrapped the chain around his finger. ‘You okay?’

(well do you WANT to write them getting married, bc that's gonna be a lot of time and 2 bajillion pages later)
Jayden gave a small shake of his head, holding him closer.
