Chester leaned into his touch, laying on his stomach.
‘Morning,’ Oliver said with a chuckle. -
"Morning." Jayden smiled. "Oliver, am I prettier, or is Chester?"

Oliver raised an eyebrow. ‘I can’t answer that. Either way I’ll get fired.’

"If Chester fires you, I'll hire you. Deal?"

Chester looked up at Jayden, looking pissed. Oliver chuckled. ‘Then Chester will hate me.’

Jayden pat Chester's head, shrugging. "Worth a shot."

Chester nuzzled against his hand.
‘I have a boyfriend too, so like-‘ Oliver laughed nervously. -
"I know, I know, I didn't mean it like that. Me and Chester are just having a debate that he is GOING TO LOSE."

Oliver raised an eyebrow. Chester made a fox-sound stubbornly.
‘You two are weird,’ Maeve said. -
Jayden rolled his eyes. "How'd lighting the rest of the fireworks go?"

Maeve huffed. ‘Oliver didn’t let me.’

Jayden chuckled. "Shame."

Maeve nodded. Their food arrived.

Jayden took his food.

Chester rested his head on Jayden’s lap.
