Lucas could see Jasmine looking back at her, then turning away. He was confused, but didn't wanna escalate matters, so he just looked away too.
-
She hurried through her food, standing, then realized she had to walk right past Lucas to put her tray up. She stared at the ground as she passed by, eyes wide, and cheeks burning with embarrassment.
-
Lucas noticed this time, and he was curious as to why Jasmine acted strange. Then, he took one last bite, and threw the rest away.
-
Later, Jasmine was called back to the main building. The camp director informed her that a camp counselor was going to come and show her around. He spoke into a walkie talkie "Lucas, can you come show the newbie around the camp?" He asked.
-
Lucas heard the walkie-talkie, and walked away from the lunch area. He then reached into his pocket, and grabbed his walkie-talkie out of it. "Sure, where is the newbie?" He responded.
-
"Main building." Camp Director said. "He'll be here soon." He said to Jasmine, who had been lost in thought for the past few minutes. "Have a good day so far?" She nodded her head. They waited in silence for Lucas to get there.
-
Lucas walked to the main building, curious. As he walked into the building, he noticed Jasmine standing there.
Lucas rushed in, then greeted the Camp Director. He then waved to Jasmine. -
The Camp Director nodded a greeting at Lucas, then left. Jasmine waved back. "Uh... Hello." She said quietly.
-
"Hi. I thought I saw you during the food break?"
-
"Er... Yea, i think so." Jasmine answers, shuffling her feet.
-
"Well, then. Should I show you around?"
-
"I think so, since the Camp Director said to?"
-
"Cool. Follow me, then. I'll show you around."
(fun fact - I haven't been to camp before owo) -
(Me neither, but i've watched shows. Anyways, since this is a made up camp for 'healing' introverts, we can put whatever)
They passed by the mess hall, the cabins, the archery range, the art hall, the firepit, the canoe dock, and the 'healing' areas. The 'healing' areas were a few cabins set up to force introverts into small areas with a few other people. The counselors would lock them in the cabin together, forcing them to socialize, since there was nothing to do in the cabins.
(Cruel, i know. But the people here are messed up, idk) -
(thats just sad lmao)
"So. What do we do now?"
