Olivia stood up.

Tanner walked out, holding the door open for Olivia.

"Thanks."

"No problem." Sure enough his parents were cooking some sort of pastry. "Hey mom and dad!" He said happily.

"Hi." Olivia said.

"Hello Olivia!" His parents said happily.

Olivia couldn't help grinning.

"Want some waffles?" Tanner's dad asked.

"Yeah."

Tanner nodded, sitting down on one of the chairs.

Olivia grabbed a chair next to Tanner's and sat on it.

They both got a plate of waffles, and Tanner ate his.

Olivia ate hers too.

"Does it taste alright?" Tanners parents asked, and he nodded.

"Yeah, it tastes great!"
